It's not a lie, per se. It's simply the answer to a different question: "What do women like in men they are already attracted to?"

Women aren't really lying. They just answer to a different question: "What traits do you want in men you're already attracted to?".

Women dating advice is, in general, awful. Not because women lie or because men don't understand it properly. Again, as a rule of thumb, when you ask a woman what makes a man attractive, they tell you the traits they like in men they already find attractive. Caring. Patience. Hard worker. Listens. Respects her. All those are traits that most women want, but not traits that cause attraction (again, in general). In fact, if you focus on them, you are likely to come across as a really good friend.

You justify your whole post in how shitty men wanting sex from you is.

when I want something from someone, I am happy to take them to a dinner. And this is why you consider that most men are terrible. You just said it yourself, when they want something from you, they are willing to pay money for it. Just, you kinda lose the right to complain about them wanting something from you.

You haven't answered. You show respect to his time by showing up on time and paying attention to him. Yet if he does the same, no more, no less, you consider he's not respecting your time. Why?

So, men willing to pay for a date with a random that shows very little interest are, according to your logic, less desperate than those not willing to do so? That makes very little sense.

OP literally said "Meeting men is a chore". so in this case, while I am focusing on an extreme, we are talking about an extreme case.

So if he does the same, it's not enough, he also needs to pay for your food. Why is your standard for "respecting my time" different than your standard for "respecting his time"? why does your time require extra money? is his less valuable?

Which are all behaviors that you find in men that are desperate for sex. Such as the men willing to pay to go on a date with someone that considers it a chore.

So you say that, by paying, he respects your time. How do you respect his?

Unless we talk about you. You are entitled to them.

Yet you complain about the kind of behavior men who are not successful with women have. "I hate men being desperate for sex, so I will make sure only the men willing to pay to meet me meet me. That way I will weed out the men that act desperate for sex by only dating men that are desperate for sex. Oh, also, dates in general are shitty because men are desperate for sex. I know because that's my experience."

"I don't allow men in positions where they can push them. That's why I go on dates with men that push me to, despite me not enjoying them."

Being willing to put more effort than a potential partner is by definition not emotionally intelligent.

Dating men is terrible when you only date those desperate enough to pay to go on a date with someone who is clearly uninterested.

Someone willing to pay for a date with a woman that considers it a chore is, by definition, a loser.

So, let me get it straight: For you, going on a date is a chore, a job, something you don't enjoy and only do when you are motivated, mostly by economical gain. Well, if your mindset of the world is that you keep company to men as a chore, in exchange for economic compensation, maybe it's not so surprising that you are often pressured for sex.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
