For the third time in a row. I haven’t said anything about this article, nor this particular person. Talk about gaslighting. I merely called out your pseudo-intellectual ass for being factually incorrect about the definitions of gender and sex. Glad you’re self aware that you’re a bigot though. You probably identify as a “Christian” too lmao go fuck yourself

Apparently you didn’t understand my last response when I asked to provide an example of when I even mentioned (let alone defended) a rapist or murderer. You just regurgitate the same intellectually bankrupt nonsense over and over. You are a bigot, by definition. Specifically a transphobe.

When did I defend a rapist/murderer? Simply called you out for being factually incorrect. Not once did I even mention the article. Nice strawman though

As expected, you are provided with multiple sources which thoroughly describe the topic and it’s validity and all you can respond with is how your feelings are hurt that definitions of words change over time. Bigots gon bigot

There’s probably a better analogy, but I think of it like this: a job description is society’s expectation of how you’ll perform at your job. Society presumes a charity will behave according to their mission statement. Etc Gender is society’s expected ‘role’ of someone based on their biological phenotype (sex). These ARE overwhelmingly accepted as separate concepts in the medical field as evidenced by several published guidelines on this topic. Such guidelines include Endocrine Society, UCSF, WP…

Again…because two things are dependent on one another does not mean they are synonymous. If you are so obviously correct, I urge you to publish your thoughts in a major medical journal so that you can change these universally accepted concepts

Sex and gender are dependent on one another. That doesn’t mean they’re synonymous. This really isn’t that complicated to understand

“Gender refers to the characteristics of women, men, girls and boys that are socially constructed. This includes norms, behaviours and roles associated with being a woman, man, girl or boy, as well as relationships with each other. As a social construct, gender varies from society to society and can change over time.”—WHO This is basic high school level anthropology

No, the statement is actually true. Gender is a social construct. Sex is a biological construct. These are universally accepted concepts in the medical field and are described in several high school level biology and anthropology text books

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
