1	Looking at Losing it All There is precedence for both. Because I was aware that she was doing classes, though not to what extent, it looks like I'm being held accountable for the loans. It went from (in her words) a $10K bachelor's degree to an almost $100K master's degree. She took it upon herself to defer the first loan and continue her education all without my knowledge or any discussion. 1	Looking at Losing it All No mediation. The financials were highly contested. She initially wanted 102.5% of everything. My previous attorney made that exact argument (her benefiting) and I believe that's what swayed the Superior Court. She appealed and the Supreme Court says it was in error. They statied that my ignorance of the loans does not absolve me from being responsible. Yes, she worked during her schooling and hid it from me as her employer would allow her to leave to attend classes.	/r/Divorce_Men	02/10/19 06:28 PM
1	Looking at Losing it All Her argument was that I needed to be responsible for half her debt due to it being marital (nearly $100K). The Superior court only made me responsible for a smaller portion (about $15K). This is student loan debt and she was completing it online when I was asleep and leaving work to attend a local college. Unbeknownst to me, she continued her education and received her Master's degree. I'm waiting to hear when the next hearing is as it's being taken back to the lower court for revision.	/r/Divorce_Men	02/10/19 06:00 PM
