I agree with your post, but not your title. You don't necessarily have to suck at it to begin with. Perhaps you do. Practice doesn't lead to perfection. It leads to improvement.

Don't lie. Others may disagree, but I think you're whole life becomes easier and more authentic if you do not lie.

I wanted to also suggest Meditation. Meditation + yoga = yin + yang

Yeah, but that's the thing man. It's entertainment. Although it will bring some insight into club game and gamin... it's still a show in TV that's semi staged, goes through editing before airing and all that jazz. They had a VIP marathon here a on TV year or two ago and I recognized the same girl getting approached in at LEAST two different episodes. The girl was clearly drunk in one of them when the guy 'kiss closed' her. It's a fun watch and gives some good tips/tricks.. take it with a grain o…

6'2" Asian woman? Where the hell does that happen? I'm Asian and from Hawaii, here an 5'4" Asian girl is considered tall. I'm moving to Hawaii...

Mine was horrible. In fact, I think think about how stupid it was in hindsight. Note, I still suck at approaches :) Many many many years ago there was a girl in one of my university classes that I kind of sort of liked. She wasn't that pretty really, she had nice boobs, meh face, short a bit chubby and she was indian. After about a few months of eyeing her in class I finally mustered up the courage to talk to her... well, it sort of went like this.. I was sitting a row over and a few seats back …

I don't think this is a problem man. Go after what you like and you want to have in life. If it's a matter of you not being attracted to a woman, and so you don't approach, and so you missing out on pick-up experience.. that's another story. But go approach what you find beautiful in life and what you want to have in life. Don't sell yourself short on what your definition of beautiful is.

Where were these sets? I think the OP was in a bar and it wasn't a happening place and he went there to drink, hence the having a couple of drinks? I don't think you can just sit there without food or drink in most establishments.

I had a friend in university who was short (~5'4) and brown (Ismaili). Penis size I don't know, but he was alright looking I guess.. had bad teeth and sort of smelled because he rarely showered and he used to shave his facial hair in weird patterns. All in all, in my opinion I didn't much like the guy... Now obviously because it was university everyones chances of meeting people go up drastically because there are horny people that surround you. But this guy had confidence through the fucking ro…

Would you think it dumb to use the nickname "Hill"? As in it's a hill worth climbing?

Wow, you have a name with a lot of depth to it. That's so awesome and also makes a great story. How do you say it when you stutter? Is there a way to explain? Any thoughts on why your name trips you up bot as per the speech coach was able to help you with other words?

OK man, sorry to ask this but I'm really curious.... what's your name? I ask this because I read PyouA's reply about owning it and I agree but at the same time I'm wondering if we can give you suggestions on how to say it/own it easier too. You don't gotta answer or reply.. I'm just curious.

Dude, that's not really answering Sweden's question... WALK through an approach. From start to them saying "you're coming on too strong", what was said by you, by her, what was the body language about... you need to describe the interaction because that shows that you are paying attention to what's going on and also it helps on people fine tuning it.

I agree with PossismX. Fuckingthrowaway92 :), it seems as though the limiting factor in your interaction with women is yourself and your own insecurities. There's a reason why people say go work out, got challenge yourself physically and that's because it's you battling you when you work out, when you run, when you're hiking and getting sore but keep pushing. You demand more from yourself and you dig down and you find that you can give more. And that bleeds out into all other aspects of your lif…

For some reason, when I think of people doing bootcamp and going out to a club to run game, I can't help but think that maybe some of the girls in the club were planted and then targeted by the instructors for the students to practice on. Kind of like giving them a sense of reward for taking the course. Kind of like a certificate you'd get for take a day long or weekend long course.. but the certificate doesn't really matter. I donno.. it's probably just me thinking dumb things.

Okay man, I'm not too sure how this will be received by you or the group but this is the first thing I thought of (mind you I got some beef on the counter that I just added new spices, ingredients to to make hamburgers for tonight.. and I'm writing you instead). Quite frankly, I'd really like to have a discussion about dating/sleeping with men/women at work.. it sure seems to come up enough to warrant periodic discussion and there are enough people who thought about it, tried it, or did it to add to this discussion.

I think you are missing the point. Your title says "why looks don't matter" and your reply to masonbrit says "[I'm a model]... I always have had these looks". I think the title of your post should not have reflected that "looks don't matter" but that you had weak self-confidence and weak inner game instead. One last shot: I had only had one kiss which was when I was 11 and it didn't really count because that the time everyone at school hooked up with at least one other person. You attend a weird…

I don't see what you see. I don't see a "more" under the Guides or any other section or subsection of the side bar. It all looks and works fine for me. Try taking a screen shot of what you're referring to and including that.

Practice meditation. Meditation is used to train your mind into developing a particular mindset. Anyone else here meditate? Care to share your experience with it and if it has had any benefits to your life?

We dated for about four years. I moved to another city and we tried the long distance thing but I need someone physically there. I like doing things with someone, being with them, touching etc etc.. and our relationship just fizzled out. She was a really good, kind, homley type of girl.. very stunningly beautiful but didn't take risks, didn't try new things and had a pretty sheltered life which she kind of wanted to hold on to. I met someone great in the new city and so started that relationship…

Friends should be happy to see you grow and succeed, not be jealous and steal from you. A good person knows what makes others happy and helps them to achieve it. Be a good person yourself.

As soon as I get back to them they go: Dude, nice one there. Dude, shes cute. Dude, you gonna get with her? Dude, you should go for her. They even go as far as to give me advice. Which I recognize instantly as shitty advice. I'm not sure I understand... as in, are they saying "Dude, you should go for her" out of spite or with malice? Are they encouraging and giving advice to help you or making fun of you?

That's a really good point. I went to university with a guy in some of my classes that was really really good looking. Some of the girls I used to hang out with were really into him. Heck he looked like a male model, was tall, very fit, great hair and smile and dressed really well. He looked good. One day in one of our classes we had to give a presentation on the projects we were working on. His turn came and he got up in front of everyone and was shaking like a leaf, sweating and stumbling over…

Just relating a story.. not all women are like this, but I dated this girl last year who was in her late 30's and only read Cosmo and only watched reality shows like Desperate Housewives. In the year that I knew her she didn't change much. I mean literally a year had passed and her interests, experiences and knowledge was pretty much exactly the same. The conversations were all gossipy type, drama filled (even when there was no drama) and very much dumbed down. She's not in my life anymore as on…

I'm happy that you are alive as well. Because as you read this reply you really have no idea who I am or what I am going through right now yet we are communicating, in addition, I don't know what other experiences you are having in addition to this. I'm also so very happy that you are alive. Let's carry this forward, yes?

I don't think so. Sounds like the OP is in his head quite a bit and is becoming aware of how that comes across to others - that stern, "I'm upset", I'm not inviting kind of vibe. Perhaps thinking about something positive that he likes and that brings out something positive in him ends up relaxing his entire demeanor enough to get positive responses from others. This trick/tool is enough to get on for now until his life and perspective and openness increases as the quality of his life improves.

I think his reply was sound. Not too sure why you're getting defensive. I had a friend who loved watching Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men because he thought that was the type of character who could get laid. Even though he knew it was a sitcom. Part of why he watched it could have been because it titalated that part of him which thought he could be Charlie Sheen as well. Could be wrong on that.. but it's just television and entertainment at the end of the day.
