2	A realisation I had about “did you get home safe?” messages Maybe I've just got really caring friends (both men and women), but I'll get messages from both asking if I made it home safe. I'm 6'8", and I've done a mix of different martial arts for the last 3+ years, so they know I'll probably be fine, but they always ask and I'm glad they do. 1	Engineering schools is "open to taking on female applicants without the usual mathematics qualifications" \| This is how you get collapsing bridges. The problem is that some of the articles on here can really get people riled up, and unfortunately sometimes those same people take it out on someone (that would be you in this case) who is just trying to have an intellectual conversation about the topic or topics that came from the news article. 5	How we're viewed by the world, apparently They make some weird and interesting documentaries on occasion, and you get a feel of what it is like on the ground of some of the major wars around the world.
