Women have had it way way way worse than men throughout history. They have constantly been oppressed and treated as second class citizens. Women weren't allowed to vote, own property, own a business. Domestic abuse against women was basically legal until recent enough years. They have been consistently afforded less rights than men, all throughout history. It has come to be used as an insult, referring to feminazis and people who support pro-women movements that degrade men to put women higher, lumping in all people who believe in equality for all as crazy, anti-men activists. Tradition is no excuse for discrimination, otherwise we'd still have slaves and plenty of other things that the modern world today sees as abhorrent. I'm all for male/female equality.
