What does it actually mean, then?

That is what it actually means. What people use it to mean is another thing altogether.

Are you actually serious? Women have had it way way way worse than men throughout history. They have constantly been oppressed and treated as second class citizens. Women weren't allowed to vote, own property, own a business. Domestic abuse against women was basically legal until recent enough years. They have been consistently afforded less rights than men, all throughout history. Its no wonder people lump MRAs in with incels and neckbeards when you're posting stupid af comments like that. "Tha…

Realistically, you shouldnt believe everything youre told without question. Ask them what they think feminist means, explain to them what it should mean. We really should do away with the word feminist because it has come to mean wildly different things to what it should; perhaps egalitarian or something along those lines.

Traditionally, "Feminist" means that you believe in equality for men and women. It has come to be used as an insult, referring to feminazis and people who support pro-women movements that degrade men to put women higher, lumping in all people who believe in equality for all as crazy, anti-men activists. So yeah, if you aren't a feminist you are sexist, given that feminist means you support equal rights for men and women.

Yeah, you're right. Idk I was in a weird place yesterday. I think my problem was with the title "justice has been served". Idk that just implied to me that the girl had done something wrong, and that set me off. I didnt really think about the logic or other reasons for it. Thanks for calling me out.

How is this justice? Its literally discrimination. Tradition is no excuse for discrimination, otherwise we'd still have slaves and plenty of other things that the modern world today sees as abhorrent. I'm all for male/female equality. I joined this sub bc I'm fed up of feminism becoming anti-meninism, and wanted to see pro-male/female equality post, similar to r/pussypassdenied , I guess. But some of you are such neck beards. This is just as bad as an all-female choir excluding a boy bc of "trad…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
