As someone currently in an open relationship, his reasoning is stupid as shit. I didn't read enough to find out if he's also allowed to sleep with other women, but my girlfriend and I are BOTH allowed to sleep with anyone we like, and it's fantastic. Its made our love for each other deeper (because at the end of the day, we come home to each other), and it's fantastic, but it goes both ways, and it's because we're comfortable with it, not because of patriarchy bullshit.
