From what I can tell, Google (Or, rather, the source they're pulling from) is wrong about the definition and should reword it to make more sense. See, "hubby" does in fact simply mean "husband". There isn't really any other definition for it that I can find. Just a shortening. However, "wifey" has a couple of different meanings.
