I actually get this one though. It’s a biological fact that men can hold their bladder far longer than women on average. On top of that, women can have period emergencies. Like, this is making a huge deal out of nothing.

No, at this point I think it's pretty representative, other than that she embellished and was discovered, and even prosecuted. Look at the key word there. Genuine. Come on, dude. I recognize you’re as fed up with the false accusations as the rest of us, but did you really just assert that “genuine domestic and sexual violence victims” either don’t exist or never make it to the court room? We have statistics on this. We know abuse exists; our problem is the false accusations. This case really is …

Hence the “probably,” but absolutely true.

Probably by talking to them.

Ah. That makes a lot more sense. I personally think that people should absolutely be allowed to investigate the truth on their own; but we should encourage them to do so in a responsible manner. Obviously, a good portion is going to be outright wrong, but it’s better to have many be wrong than to have one person, or a subset of persons, tell them what to think. That being said, I do agree that, in our current climate, releasing the names, occupation, and general living area of the accused and no…

No, private trials hurt the accused as judgement can be passed in secret. There’s a reason public trials are a right, not a requirement. That being said, I’m with you on every other point.

Oh okay. It sounded for all the world like you were talking about the responder! Edit: a word

This... is not a pussypass? If it is, could someone please explain it to me? I was under the impression that a “pussypass” was a girl getting away with X just because she’s a girl. This is girls talking about something incredibly stupid, but they’re not really getting away with anything at the moment, unless I am mistaken.

Nope. It’s to showcase women trying to get away with something because they’re women, then failing. Important distinction.

Kind of, kind of not. This is the first time I've seen this. I understand this is immensely unlikely to be real, but if it's fake, then it's immensely well-made. The other guy on the couch is not just doing nothing; he looks over at the girl as soon as she lands. He does react. That said, what I was really frustrated about was his casual dismissal of the comment as "it's not even real," ruining the fun of suspension of disbelief while simultaneously making the commenter feel stupid. In all hones…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
