I must be autistic because I read his original response as indifference but leaving the door open for her. Then you break it down and I realize it puts her on a pedestal and robs him of his agency. Fuck, I’ve had to have used his exact same line a half dozen times and didn’t even think anything of it. Guess how many women texted me back asking to hang? Zero. Thanks for the wisdom.
