As for the tonality and body language just practice in a mirror, there’s a lot of things you don’t notice until you’re in a mirror speaking. Planning out the conversation that far ahead is kind of a waste of time. If you apologize or say you’re joking you show you don’t really mean what you say, you’re not sure of yourself or your words. The pull is the compliment, the push is the negative and almost insulting assumption that she doesn’t look intelligent (or looks less intelligent) without the glasses.
