Well archery depends a lot on strong, stable pull strength. The more tension in the string, the straighter and faster the arrow, IIRC. Men have stronger arms, so can exert more force. I don't know about shooting, but I'd assume it'd have to deal with having stronger muscles and being able to more easily control recoil.
