You're surprisingly right. A few decades ago you could have a civil debate if you disagreed with something. Nowadays people just break windows, set fires and attack each other in the streets, all while claiming they are the good guys. The only reason why I took an interest in politics last year was because of how ridiculously infuriating it was. I bought 1984 also and I don't think Orwell has been proven wrong so far.

I'm not a US citizen so I did not vote for Trump. I would consider myself a right-libertarian. I do admire the sense of camaraderie that Trump has with the American people, as although he is a part of the 1%, to me, he still seems in-touch with the everyday American.

Well in countries in the Anglosphere, we have government schemes like affirmative action, diversity training, anti-racist training and so much more to get more ESGR minorities into the workplace and into higher-up positions. I live in the 'rural north' but when we think of left-wing, we usually think of the Labour Party, the Green Party or left-liberals, not gulags, socialists and communists. Imo, at least.

It's funny to me, as an Englishmen looking at US politics. The liberals in the US are so keen on building a strong government, making protected classes (usually ESGR minorities, but I expect women to join this protected class), making hate-crime laws and so on. It's all an attempt to prevent fascism but the irony is extreme.

I don't see 'left-wing' as an insult, more like a political descriptor, like 'right-wing' is but each to their own. I don't know what country you're in but over here in England, the only Nazi I can think of in our government is the Green Party's Baroness Jones who proposed the 6PM curfew for men, which would 'make women a lot safer, and discrimination of all kinds would be lessened' as she put it.

I guess its not the insults that are the issue, after all, they're just a combination of letters that have a specific meaning, its the fact that most of the r/TwoXChromosomes members probably wouldn't be willing to have a polite, civil conversation with men. That might be true tbh, I'm not too up to date with the achievements of modern feminism. But yeah like I said, Feminism and the MRM are both focused on one gender's rights and injustices, for the most part, so I guess that's where the inequality comes from. I guess it was about equality in its early days, as it was founded on the basis of men and women being unequal, so women had to be lifted up in society to the same status as men to be equal. Feminism isn't about us. It's about women. MRM isn't about women, it's about men. Both are fine. We need to stop pretending that feminism is good for men as a whole, and MRM is good for women as a whole. They're not. Feminism is about the uplifting of women on the grounds of them being unequal to men. The MRM is a gender swap of that.

I don't think I have seen any gender bashing on this sub. I think most of the posts are things like custody battles, Male Genital Mutilation (known as 'circumcision' to most of us) and other related things. If I see any 'woman bashing' I'll leave this sub too.
