14	This woman owns a house with her boyfriend of 9 years. He won’t propose to her. Ok my ex is a really good guy, but this is pretty much our story. We lived together and worked together for almost 10 years and it took him about 8 to propose. I broke up with him 1 year after his proposal and feel like a total coldhearted turd. I went through stages of grief after I realized years ago that he didn't want to be my future kid's Dad and he hadn't proposed to me or even eluded to it so I gave up but stayed with him anyway. I never knew growing up that I could be single, I didn't have to always have a boyfriend. I recently realized I've never been single since puberty and I don't know who I am. Unfortunately, my fiance of 9 years paid for my realization because I left him. I still love him though and he was very good to me. Anyway, I'm old and broke and tired, but I'm now looking forward to seeing what life is like by myself.
