I give this jabroni concrete advice with two starters and radio silence.

Look at what she's considering in the aisle/cooler/shelf. If you have any independent knowledge, offer it. For example, say she's in the dairy section picking out yogurt - "You gotta try Chobani. They make the best Greek yogurt." If she's not a total prude, she'll respond whether she wants to talk about yogurt brands or not. You can also look in her shopping cart/basket. If you see some thing or some brand you like, break the ice with that. "Ahh, a woman of taste, willing to pay the premium on t…

Didn't realize you were in college, Apprehensive_You_227. That makes sense. I guess I was thinking if you are renting and can change apartments in a year's time when your lease is up or looking to buy a house or condo, why not limit your towns/suburbs/neighborhoods to places that have a Barnes & Noble. Beyond the value of Barnes & Noble, itself, its usually a good barometer of other retail/entertainment in the given locale. But, yes, if you're on a college campus and there's no Barnes & Noble, d…

Fuck! Must have been a downright psycho to render going solo a better option. Imagine being better off explaining why you're at the bar alone as opposed to having to justify being friends with that guy!

All very good points. But your scenario anticipates the friend has equal/adequate social skills to pull chicks himself. He might not. So in addition to serving as proof that each of you are not a lone predator in the bar, you might need to initiate on your behalves. You might need to prop him up, flatter him to make him attractive to the lad(ies) where he would appear to be bragging if he brought these traits/accomplishments up independently.

Not necessarily. Because they can only go so far with the woman they are keeping occupied. A true wingman hooks up with the friend while you hook up with your conquest.

Admittedly, mine is not the best example for you (as you read on). My main purpose was to illustrate that there is nothing weird about "showing your purpose" in a grocery store. But what happened was, I was passing my future wife in an aisle and she said, "I know you, you dated my past roommate." This was so. A year earlier, I went on 3-4 dates with her roommate. I met her on two of the dates at their apartment and I remember admiring her looks and personality a lot more than those of her roomma…

So what? They're nursing students. Maybe if he were in law school he might not want to be known as "the dude that hits on anyone with a pulse in class/school," but these are future nurses. Spiritual-Shirt-6027 knows what I mean. That's probably why he enrolled in nursing school instead of medical school.

I asked out a woman I met at Jewel (Albertsons). I fingerblasted her on our first date. We were barebone fucking on our third. We've been married for nearly 17 years and have three children together.

Move to that city 45 minutes from your current home. Barnes & Noble is the answer to your question. If you're single living in a climate that experiences an actual autumn and winter, you have no business living in a town that has no Barnes & Noble.

I have been married for nearly 17 years, so my wingman days are over, but when I was single, I firmly believe that I was the ideal wingman. I understand your conundrum, Opposite-Engine9807. I don't think an app would work because the bizarre combination of traits that creates the perfect wingman are not often found in most men. For starters, the perfect wingman must be utterly selfless. Too many guys are only willing to be your wingman 'if they get the hotter chick.' And if none of the women are…

Does anyone else besides me think that the subject matter of what he put on to watch (i.e., true crime YouTube videos) may have been fatal to the possibility of hooking up? I think: a.) True crime tends to be gory, gruesome, and - possibly - depressing. None of which lends itself to sexy time; and b.) If it is particularly captivating, one or both of them can get so caught up in the documentary/series, that the focus shifts from using the videos as a background for sex to watching the videos as …

I do think the successful guys (myself included) account for more than 10%. I'm not saying it's easy or that it happens every weekend - or even once a month, but I've certainly picked up a girl at a bar and closed the deal that same night. Granted, this was in the mid-'90's - early 2000's because I started dating the woman who would become my wife in early 2003. But in the mid-'90's - early 2000's it may have been easier because the pendulum has really shifted since that time. What do I mean? In…

You're thinking about it wrong. What you've got to do is accept that you are promiscuous and you are attracted to equally promiscuous women. If you're going to long-term date any woman, it's going to be a woman who fucks you in the short term (i.e., first date). If a woman makes you wait two or, worse, three dates to have sex, she's probably not the woman for you anyhow. You're not sexually compatible. You have a normal-high libido; she has a low libido. Even if she eventually fucks you, is it r…

Yes, this is a truism. Another way this concept has been phrased is: 'One door closes; another door opens.'

Granted, my experience with promiscuity in Madison, Wisconsin, was college-related, but I always thought that the women in Madison were particularly generous. And though I didn't visit a huge number of schools in other cities/states, I think I visited enough to be able to compare. Madison was the most promiscuous.

Funny how you don't mention "sex", "fucking" or even "hooking up," at all in your description of Lubbock. I'm not interested in dancing and getting drunk or high. Just because there are parties does not mean guys are going to get laid. In fact, raucous parties are often rife with obstacles and distractions that can thwart the single-minded pursuit of sex. So do you have evidence that it's easy for guys to hook up sexually with women in Lubbock, TX?

First, I agree with the other people who said not to give this person one more second of your brain power. Second, it could be possible that she was testing you out. Why does she have to communicate what 'her friends' think? They have mouths; they can express themselves. She may have been interested in you and wanted to see how you would handle an aggressive situation of her own making. If you were confident and had some quick answers for her, she may not have shoo-ed you away. In any event, she…

I feel if you don't do it now, you'll be a 40-year-old virgin. Watch that movie (40-year-old Virgin). Yes, it's a raunchy comedy, but it also offers a lot of wisdom. There was one scene where Steve Carrel explained how he got to age 40 and remained a virgin. It made a lot of sense and echoes much of what you communicated.

" ... you aren’t missing anything except the ego boost of a high body count." But having a high body count sure is a big ego boost! And it might give him the confidence he needs to go up to some truly gorgeous women and potentially find that elusive long-term relationship.

Thank you, Secret-Product-368. I'm glad you found it inspiring. That was my intention. Beyond the short-term fun/thrill you may get out of going out with a woman who is 'below your standards,' there are potentially long-term benefits that could change the course of your whole life (like the way in which I met my wife). Think of it as opening a door to a hallway with an unseen door (or doors) beyond that initial entry point. You may find happiness with that first woman or she may indirectly lead …

Just as rules were made to be broken, standards were made to be lowered. Lower your standards. I know it sounds sacrosanct: 'Ohhhhhh, he has no standards!' However, once you get past how bad it looks on paper, you'll realize it's just paper. It sounds a lot worse than actually doing it. I'll give you an example. I was once contacted for a date on a dating site on which I was enrolled and had a profile. The woman had a photo, and I could tell that she was bigger than me. She was alright looking, …

First, ask your buddy how he escalates. It's not weird; he's probably an excellent resource. He'll probably be flattered you asked him. Second, if women are coming over to his place or inviting him to theirs before they've even met in person, it's a done deal. He doesn't need to "escalate" things have already "escalated" simply by virtue of the woman inviting him to her house/apartment or agreeing to go to his place. They both know why they're there. I'm sure as soon as he walks in there or she …

Couldn't intelligent guys have less sex by choice insofar as they understand what's out there in terms of STD's and unplanned pregnancies so they have ssx with fewer people to mitigate the risk of either of the two consequences?

I like what Dry-Sheepherder is saying. Makes sense to use paternity tests in light of how exact this science has become over the past two decades or so. I also think the pull out method is far more effective that public health outlets declare. I've used it for decades and never had an unplanned pregnancy. The three times I was trying, I conceived my three children within the first month of trying too.

No, they don't. And I'm always happy on Reddit when females truthfully express their disdain for condoms.

Haha. Two women is the exact number of females I had unprotected sex with (and no STD's or unplanned pregnancies resulted). The rest I attempted to use condoms with, but I had the same poor luck as you. I couldn't get it on without losing my erection or if I did get it on I'd lose it when trying to penetrate since I was bereft of all sensation. On the rare instance where neither Fail #1 nor Fail #2 occurred, the condom would break while thrusting. The women that wanted me to use a condom in the …

Thanks, agileipa. I wish these statistics were available in the '90's, although I could see HIV/AIDS being too new. Plus, we didn't have the internet (YouTube) where non-professionals (like Jen) could enter their opinion and research. I know it wasn't her motive, but what I take from this is all the intercourse I passed up in the '90's - early 2000's when I was single. I thought I was safe sticking to oral/69-ing, and perhaps I was because I only first heard about HPV after I met and started dat…

I like this doctor of yours. I was a victim of the school sex ed. program of the early-mid nineties. (I'm probably your age.) I wish my doctor dispelled the fear the school put in me. I would have had a lot more sex if I had.

I've never heard that theory before about "Sterile semen biologically programmed to kill anything it touches." Wishful thinking makes me want to believe that's true. I guess my one question would be wouldn't the semen potentially kill the ovum instead of serving as the vessel for the sperm cells (or at least one sperm cell) to fertilize the ovum?
/r/seduction17/04/22 07:51 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
