The "right thing" would be to dump his ass and never look back. NEVER GIVE MEN SECOND CHANCES.

Karma doesn't exist and it's a cope. If it did women would be living the high life with all the benefits the world has to offer while men would be actually punished for their depravity.

If they're low quality, just block them. Don't give them an opportunity to argue with you or call you names. Block on the first red flag. The vast majority of the men you meet on OLD will be low quality, so you're wasting your time giving these men ample opportunities to keep conversing with you. You can be polite when you reject them if you want, but right after you say what you need to, block them and move on. You don't owe these men anything.

Never give out social media account information to men unless you've vetted them properly. Stick to the app messaging systems until you have a decent understanding of their character, which will take a few dates. When you're employing FDS strategy you're rejecting a lot of men based on their lack of quality and some of them will not take the rejection well. You never want to give angry, rejected men extra ways to get in contact with you once you've blocked them on the app. Be strict about who ge…

After that, you might be willing to see him again? Please dump him, and move on. ALWAYS take men at face value! NEVER assume they'll "change for the better". What you see is what you get. Evaluate this man with the perspective that he will push your boundaries and belittle you for having them in the first place, that he will ALWAYS do this. Why would you stay with a man like that?

We don't advocate making the first move here. Read the sidebar and required reading posts to understand what FDS is about.

You don't do anything. If he really likes you, he'll find a way to get over his shyness and ask you out. Don't wait around for it to happen or make the first move. Prepare yourself for the very real possibility that he'll never work up the courage. Don't romanticize him and stop yourself from daydreaming about him; don't invest emotional energy into a relationship you don't even have.

Yes, they will always feel like that. I don't know what your goals are regarding men and dating but if you want to marry a high value man you're going to have to give that kind of sex up.

Choking? No high quality man will ever be into that. Ever. Only pornsick men do that.

Men don't respect women who engage in sexual acts that they feel ashamed about. They might enjoy it, immensely even, but men tend to never escape the Madonna/whore dichotomy, and when you engage in pornographied sex, or bdsm, or kink, they stop respecting you. Even if they never come right out and say it, they feel deep disgust and shame for hurting women (or doing things to them that feels dirty and unwholesome) and getting off to it. That disgust gets projected onto women because they've "allo…

Yes, the Madonna/Whore complex is real and very much alive, despite what liberal feminists would have you believe. Deep down men know that getting off to hitting and humiliating a woman for sexual pleasure is messed up, and they're ashamed of it even if they never admit it, and they don't truly respect women who ask for it or let them engage in this behavior. Men feel disgust for women who participate in anything that engenders shame, even if it's consensual on the surface.

I find it interesting that you think gate-keeping sexual access to one's own body a negative thing, and manipulative.

I've never read that book, so I can't comment on it. I don't know in what context you mean "none of this career/accomplishment stuff matters" (matters to a man? In general?), so I'll set that aside until you clarify. However, one thing that I think is crucial to remember is that YOU are the only person you'll have for life. Relationships come with inherent risks, and someone can leave you at any time, for any reason. So why not devote your time and energy to yourself, first and foremost? (The on…

Not every guy will care about your job or career (or lack thereof). That being said, your lack of career seems to be a source of insecurity for you, so I would invite you to spend some time thinking about what you can do to change that. Which might mean making peace with being a struggling waitress, or it might mean figuring out what you want to do in life and getting started with a real career. In general, I encourage other women to invest in themselves first and foremost, because you're the on…

You're better off without him, even if feels bad to let him go right now. You deserve more than lukewarm affection and a half-assed, lazy approach. Whenever you start dating again, remember your worth and drop anyone who doesn't treat you with the utmost care and respect immediately.

The male ego is fragile beyond belief.

No self-respecting woman would date a married man (or anyone otherwise attached) because a man willing to cheat on his wife is low quality by default. Full stop.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
