Well I guess that convention now has a whiff of the old high school type scandal about who “didn’t get invited to the party” bitchiness. A couple of them were hot, one in particular that Thorne guylooked pretty super for an old guy. The rest of them, no, they def aren’t lifting.

“Gimme your number I swear I’m a great texter” is a really funny one I heard lately. I know game is supposed to be a specific thing but to me it’s just chatting and interacting with other people which is what people do. I read some advice on trp that said you should flirt with everyone, old ladies etc... I think it’s good advice for people who need to learn.

How else will you know if your expectations are even close to being aligned?

Seems like a good summary. What’s the relationship between their recommended techniques for ending “shit tests” and then having to start using “push pull” techniques and other drama creating mechanisms because conflict free living is boring? I read one post where the guy said he yelled at his wife for not carrying groceries in then when she got up to help and went to the car she found a bouquet of flowers waiting.

Odd. I’ve found from reading those that men actually have much more emotional depth than I was aware of and that their self image and worth is largely defined (in their own minds) by their convergence with women. Fascination doesn’t even cover it. I mean, there’s a reason they say things like “this guy fucks.” Edit: I haven’t read incels

Damn I was going to say this.

Yes they’re very sanctimonious and superior. “What do you mean you don’t want to save the earth??”
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/17 10:18 PM

What’s all that barking and chirping and cooing for if not to pass on some kind of meaning? Joyful noise?

There’s basically no “average person.” Whatever problem you have it’s your problem. You can try to solve it or keep worrying about what other people think. Who cares? And apparently there’s always Southeast Asia if times get desperate.

Right wingers have to have some “other” to hate and blame for their problems. So it lines up accordingly. If I ever feel powerless I’ll probably feel mad too.

take on a ridiculous amount of risk. Yes there’s a deep wellspring of fear running under the trp bedrock.

It’s not about self improvement apparently.

Negging is stupid. It may be effective but I roll my eyes at that stuff. It’s so transparent. Last weekend some guy in a bar kept trying to get me to have a bit of his sandwich. “You look like you need to eat more.” I can’t relate to having to “qualify” myself to some guy. Please.

That’s creepy.

I don’t read any of that kind of stuff. People chirping about how expert they are at stuff really annoys me. Fashion and lifestyle blogs are where it’s at.

That’s kind of dumb though because many factors in addition to the content of the advice can affect your success at “bedding down” somebody.

Trait Score Percentile Narcissism 2.1 23 Narcissism is an egotistical preoccupation with self. [more] Machiavellianism 2.4 35 Machiavellianism is a tendency to be manipulative and deceitful. Psychopathy 0.3 0 Psychopathy reflects shallow emotional responses. My Mom will be glad to know that virtually everyone who has taken this test is more psychopathic and emotionally shallow than I am.

One thing that might make it effective is that all of the information is aggregated in one place and each category has plenty of examples provided. One thing that makes it ineffective is that readers get distracted by the idiots that post childish rants and the often ludicrous but still entertaining field reports. I'm not really sure why so many people get so emotional about it. There's nothing in there that is very surprising if you've been out in the world interacting with people. And I'm not …

As far as I’m concerned it is. Anything beyond light flirting is out.

Interestingly my current bf is the only one who has gotten me all the way to the finish line from piv alone if you forgive me being so blunt. I don’t know what exactly that’s indicative of. Lol no pun intended.

Wealth affects everything. How can you self actualize if you’re worried about the price of soap? “Fly over to a non-white country.” Sounds grim. No shade on brown girls but wtf?

I’m not at all. He’s a very flawed person. I just feel sympathy because it’s clear he’s a very troubled person and that affects every person in his wake. I don’t see any point in name calling.

You’re probably right. His wife sounds awful. Too bad kids are involved too. I feel really sad for the guy. All of them really. I hope I don’t get to that age and find out I’m miserable.

To be fair, she cheated on him first so there’s blame all around probably.

Oh yes sorry I misunderstood.

Read his history. He says he and his wife have sex all the time. She's not giving enough girlfriend treatment because she wants solitude. They live with their extended family of like 7 people I think. He's not haaaaaaaaaapy.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/17 07:25 PM
2

His justification is that her "girlfriend game" is weak. Despite their robust sex life she doesn't want to spend as much time with him as he would like. She doesn't love him affectionately enough. I'm not saying that he isn't entitled to want what he wants I'm just repeating what he has written.

Oh I have been following that story. It is as painful to read and as compelling as any novel that I have read. It even features a narrator who lies to himself and provides the reader with incomplete information which are common literary devices in works where the truth of the story can be gleaned from the actions and dialog of the other people featured and the throwaway comments on seemingly unrelated things. Std testing is just the type of thing that this narrator would leave out. It is difficu…

Because just because I like something doesnt mean I think its a sought after trait Basically everything in your response to this post disgusts me but I think you’re making a really important and interesting point here that shouldn’t get lost in the vileness of your examples.

Yes I noticed that. Thanks for the advice.

That’s a good point. I saw a cartoon the other day that was something about “what is the whitest sentence that could ever be said?” and it was “we absolutely must get Jena into the top Park Slope preschool.” Which is hilarious but probably not to a white person in Idaho or somewhere.

I’ve recently given up eye-rolling. This post tested me but I stood firm. No this is never going to end. The reason why is because women have what men want and these labels reflect mens’ beliefs about their own nearness or farness to the prize.

Yes I saw on the news that nfl player that was defending Cam use the phrase “females invading male spaces.” I’m not disagreeing with him it just jumped out at me. The last place I’d want to be is some professional sports team locker room. Did you see that video of the baseball player jumping around in his flag underwear while his team mates sprayed him with champagne? Super gay.

I think men will continue to endlessly discuss women forever and ever amen. They can say what they like about the “manosphere” but that’s what it is all about. The manosphere is about women. If it was really a “man” o sphere it would be about fatherhood and creating actual men not “dick wetting.”

Oh I don’t know if it has to be 18. I think back to what was going on when I was a teenager I think it’s probably good to have someone keeping tabs on them so they’re not spending all their time drinking lean and smoking weed and getting pregnant. Plus someone’s got to schlep you to all your practices and lessons and tutoring.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/17 12:13 PM

It’s a challenge. I had one non-white bf and he was all kinds of hung up about it. Didn’t bother me but it was such an issue with a capital I for him. Race doesn’t seem like that big of a thing to me I’m oblivious. When I got to college I met people I thought were just really tan until my room mate told they’re not tan, that’s the color of their skin.

Do you ever wonder if viewing other humans you don’t find attractive as “garbage” and “nothing” might be a limitation in your aspiration to being an attorney or a journalist?

Maybe look into it. Going through life with a deep sense of dissatisfaction can’t be good. Maybe you can find it one way or another. This is not in reference to you personally but I do see that deep sense of dissatisfaction in many trp narratives no matter what abundance they might report. I think it’s a key factor in their attitudes about money actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/17 09:36 PM

She might be your equal. She might not be. I do agree that an adult should be able to support themselves and a child if they choose to have one. I do think couples can choose for one parent to stay at home if they both prefer it that way. Myself, I don’t want to have a baby then hand it off to some Central American woman to take care off while I’m gone 10 hours a day. If I had a husband, and enough money, I’d be fine with him staying home with our baby.

Is it a limited resources thing? Like she has to work in order that the electric bill be paid? What if resources permit? Is there a philosophical reason this can’t be allowed?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/17 06:08 PM

Well I’m glad for you. Seems counterintuitive to me though.

Not arguing. Parsing. A nanny is an acceptable substitute for the abilities of you and your wife? I see a lot of nannies at the park. I don’t think they’re very impressive most of them. A lot of them are mean as hell.

weird crushes I suspect those happen all your life and often for inconvenient or inppropriate people. I suspect the thing is to have the strength of mind to not let them be operative. Doesn’t everyone get a “passing fancy” sometimes?

It’s almost like you never noticed boys and girls are different and that during adolescence those differences complicate everything. Sad and immature though it may be.

Is E-7 some kind of pay range or something? Is that a lot of money? That’s pretty interesting. The army pays for every army person’s family no matter how many kids?

Is that true?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/17 04:20 PM

Why would anyone have four kids? Can you make enough money being an army person to support four kids? It seems prolifigate somehow.

I was a Girl Scout for awhile. Went on some camping trips. It was pretty fun. Until the troop leader got a dui then my parents pulled me out. I think they should be separate, no girls in Boy Scouts and no boys in Girl Scouts.

Why would any girl want to hang out with a group of boys that age? Is there anything grosser?

the female veto authority Which is what your useful, praxeolgical, strategy is attempting to get past which, when you think about it, is funny. Natural is a ridiculous term anyway. No such thing. Everyone learns things one way or another just some sooner rather than later.

What about your Dad? Was he in the picture? It’s seeming that a lot of the trp on reddit have no, or problematic relationships with their Dads. MIA, violent or they were adopted or whatever. Do you think that’s part of your issue? It’s seeming like a theme.

He is extremely fit and hot, hard working without being a workaholic, creative without being cringey, well mannered, drama and dickishness free, and as awful as this sounds, so restful to be around. So much so to all of that, I tolerate his absolute inability to ever arrive anywhere on time, his horrifying taste in music and his obsession with sports.
