Of course! you're already more than halfway to your journey by unconsciously doing it(introspection) when you wrote the post. The journey will only ever be as hard as you want it to be. Good luck!

It's easy to leave the mentality behind once you've resolved to leave the red pill. Just remember to take a step back and see things from other people's perspective. "Would I be ok if someone did what I was doing to me?" That's the most basic question you have to ask yourself, and then the rest will follow. Another question to help you with introspection, is "why am I doing this?" This applies to all interactions, not just dating.

Definitely. The reason people follow ideologies is because it closely aligns with our conscious and subconscious thoughts. We find something we agree with, and take that in. We find something we don't, we find a reason why. When we take that ideology as part of our identity, it becomes a part of us and someone attacking the ideology feels like we are being attacked. This is where the need to defend an ideology comes from, but also how we move away from an ideology. It's a lot on how sure you are…

We all have our own ideologies in one form or another, red pill is just a burning raw sewage pipe of an ideology that has bursted from underneath that some idiot got his other idiot friends to watch cause they thought it was cool fireworks though

The fact that it starts off with giving you a reason why women do things is precisely what's wrong with it. There are a million different reasons why you can't generalize a person and why they do what they do. Is it fair to say that all men play basketball in order to get women, does that seem like a fair answer to you? If it does, you probably have an issue with dating and other related things. If it doesn't, you get why sex based reasoning is flawed If it doesn't, because you think it's differ…

I think you're right about miscommunication clash. That's my bad. What I meant by the example was that most people don't need a guide on how to properly emotionally deal with an ex/a breakup, but some would. Just a parallel example.
/r/ExRedPill04/11/20 10:45 AM

Well what I said was unexpected comments are just part of human interaction and most people deal with comments based on their personality and relationship with the person. What you're talking about seems closer to a guide for those with insecurities and how not to let it get to them. But to your point, if you're "being given shit" and then "being prepared and stay calm" when it happens to you sounds like advice given to someone who let their emotions dictate their actions. Kind of the difference…

Can you delve deeper into this? What do you mean by curve balls? And by being rattled? I just don't get it cause I'm not sure what being rattled by a curve ball means? Like the question in the example? An answer to a pick up line sounds like? I mean that's not even really a curve ball, and why would someone be rattled by this? Isn't this just part of normal human interactions? So far it seems like you mean the process of shit testing itself.

It's one of the few actual pearls of wisdom to glean from the TRP shit. Bro I don't know if you mean the definition for the term shit test or the process of shit testing itself. If it's the latter, boy do I have some news for you

I'm pretty sure the point of this tactic is to seem cool as you get rejected by dozens of women you approach. Why get laid when you can pretend to get laid and still collect redpill points from fellow garbage?

Definitely! Just reminding people that just because you're in your feelinga doesn't mean you can be an asshole. Yes, we all do regrettable things when we're in our feelings BUT don't make being emotional an EXCUSE for shitty behavior.

This advice is the only one you truly will ever need for anything. Be who you are, recognize your faults and weaknesses, and the whys and hows of your own psyche, and if you apply this mindset of growth daily, you'll be ok.

Recognize where your misogynistic beliefs start and end and why and how they affect you. You already came here and said all this, this is literally half the battle, which is recognising that women and men are people that don't really differ that much. Just be mindful of your interactions and when you start to retreat to defense mechanisms, stop and think about it.

Everyone has faults we often overlook though. Sometimes it's quick, sometimes it takes a while. There might be traits your male friends do that you don't give a second thought about because he's your friend and you won't even remember it until you see it. I think that's what most people in TRP fail to recognize. Almost every member of TRP will have some sort of false image of themselves and can't identify faults and unhealthy behaviors. Because of this, they can't reach an understanding of who they are and can't grow further. Some get stuck in this loop of: have problems > blame problems on someone else > see example/confirmation bias > anchor bias > self serving bias > have problems. A lot of TRP is is a lack of cognitive and emotional maturity.

The more accurate term is: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bigot Haha that was fun. In a discussion about gender, when you're talking about men, you're also talking about women, and vice versa. The whole point of the discussion is the difference between gender. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hypocrite The parent comment said one thing and you added another. Lmao if you're serious, then this is even funnier. Did the parent comment say WOMEN divorce more at higher body counts? Yes Did you add And STDs no doubt. Yes So if the topic is women, and if the roles are flipped and we're talking about men, would you agree with this statement: Men have more divorces and STDs at higher body counts? Yes or No?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/20 11:35 PM

He's citing women, and you added STDs. By extension you agree that women are more likely to divorce and have STDs at higher n counts, than men. So what's the point of the discussion on STDs on a gender discussion? What exactly were you saying? Do you disagree that men with a higher n count has a higher chance of having STDs too? Hmmmmmm.

It's just social awkwardness brought on by social media and the increased likeliness to find like minded people on the internet. Add human nature to be "tribal" and have this mentality of us versus them even when the reality is us and them. They're trying to fuck the other gender, even when they "hate" all the things they supposedly do but they themselves supposedly don't do.

I didn't cede my point, because from 3-9 this is obviously untrue. And based on the studies I linked to, the mean average for America is around 7. You can draw conclusions how you want to. But the numbers don't lie. That's the point of my argument with "deal breakers". You can find everything perfect but all you need is one issue and then somehow they're less than the person they are because of their past. You gonna close out a whole person based on one value? Yeah but the whole argument is that body count doesn't matter in the long run because the only bearing it has on your relationship is how much value you put into that sentiment. Like you said, if a large part of your relationship is predicated on a lie then that's the issue, do you still not see that body count isn't the problem? It's the lying? The lack of communication? What's the point of minding body count if the whole point is moot. If she had 0 as her body count and she still divorced you?…

But in your words, winning this sport of sex can only be celebrated by men and not women cause men have it harder. You're not even saying it's impressive, you're saying it's downright the opposite. If you're getting rejected left and right the problem is with you. Having a higher body count as a man or woman doesn't matter is the point, and it's just flying over your head like a G6. If you're a virgin then I can understand why body count matters. Insecurity from lack of experience. But at the end of the day, the value of a person doesn't come from their …

I just showed you the graph. From 0 to 2, the argument works. For 3-9 the opposite is true. 10 is also true compared to 0-1, 3-9, but they end the study there, and we know body count doesn't just end at 10. Theres only the risk you perceive it to be and that's fair, you can think what you wanna think, you don't have to do anything you don't wanna do. It’s destructive to base decisions about your relationships on gender stereotypes. Some are flat out wrong, but even if there is a kernel of truth to them, they tend to exaggerate that truth, and are not constructive in dealing with the unique individuals with whom we have relationships But some people don't realize this, because apparently all humans can be stereotyped under a gender.

This "topic" is irrelevant in actual gender disparity discussion because it's not an actual thing that can be seen as an only a woman issue, it's a people issue. It's a perspective thing and pretending it's not is the ISSUE. It's just a whole load of confirmation bias going around. Tell me exactly what anyone else here has added to the conversation other than blame shifting? FDS and TRP are one and the same. It's pretty much an XBOX vs PS4 subreddit, w…

LMAO and I'm telling you that this post is stupid. Theres women and men who both don't take responsibility and do take responsibility. So tell me how this leads to actually good debate and not just virtue signalling that men are better than women. You think it's irrelevant because it's not agreeing with your views. You can trade women with men as the subject on this post and the stance would remain the same. Meanwhile, your arguments come from one side and one side only. I'm in a neutral positio…

Because it's hypocrisy. What part of that don't you get? If I argued with every racist on a racist post, isn't that one sided too? Or are you gonna say that's different. They're both prejudice and stereotypes. I'm arguing AGAINST stereotypes. So NO shit, I'm arguing against dudes who are misogynistic as shit? Answer these questions: Do you believe that a No deserves a reaction like name calling? Do you believe that women deserves more rights than men? Do you believe that we should be striving fo…

It's the hypocrisy, why stereotype? Oh right, because it's easier to accept that it's someone else's fault and not your own. The point is everyone does it, not "men do it too". Try again.

Because you're wondering why they won't give you a chance, and you think your personality is so much better but you're not better by calling her a bitch and you're still sitting here wondering why? Imagine calling your boss a bitch after they fire you. Yeah you really showed them. 😂 Imagine thinking it's all physical, and that what you're offering is something so precious and rare. Yes turning someone down who cares about you deeply makes you a bitch in their eyes, so what? Why does it matter? It don't, so how does that make her a bitch? It's not you not matching it's her not giving you a chance. Literally not giving you a chance means NO. You're portraying this as if it's nice to reject people, that's nonsense. Just because rejection is necessary doesn't mean it's nice or not rude. It's a necessary rude but still rude. LMFAO dude you really don't know what you're posting …

I get what you're saying, I'm just arguing against the opinion that in most events, gender roles will prevail. I see absolutely no reason why a woman should stay home because of that. People shouldn't be constricted to decisions based on gender roles. If mom wants to work after having a kid, it shouldn't be an issue because she's a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/20 10:16 PM
1

It's not pointless, since we're talking about efficiencies of gender roles in relationships. That's like talking about how the steam engine is the most efficient engine system and totally ignoring the fact that gasoline engines exist. No, you're talking about how hetero relationships benefit from gender roles, since it's efficient, because of our biologies. And I'm telling you those differences does not lend as much "efficiencies" as they do now. You're basically saying that even if the woman is…

I definitely see your point, thanks for explaining. I just find it different now, especially from my perspective. The reason I bring up a gay relationship is because there's no "traditional" gender roles there and if the elements needed to make a good relationship are there, then gender roles loses its so called "efficiency". The fact that a different relationship with no gender roles can exist and still be "efficient", you can see what I mean with gender roles being a thing of the past and that…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/20 06:47 AM

LOL, the issue comes from lack of communication. Plain and simple. If you can't communicate and come to a decision right, you won't get something done, it's teamwork 101. Gender roles existed because of old traditionalist views, which is now phasing out of the majority. They're irrelevant in today's world. They're not "efficient" because there's a "reason", they're "efficient" because humans can adapt. Your point is assuming that gay couples can't exist efficiently, when that's obviously not the…

No shit, I'm talking about the coping though. This post and many others love to highlight how women are emotionally needy etc etc, and yes, but men are also equally "needy". YES, men also have male friends they can talk to, but that's not usually the case for more than a few reasons, and when it isn't, that's when people fall into a toxic cycle.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/20 08:27 PM
1

A woman who won't reciprocate is not the woman for you. try again, don't be scared, there's no use in hiding your feelings and feeling needy. Be yourself, do NOT be scared, that's what partners are FOR, and as such, this also means you should reciprocate and be attentive to HER needs as she is to YOURS. All this is is communication.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/20 08:09 PM

Yeah, I don’t think that’s the norm or at least it’s shifting from it. Women asking men to go out and vice versa, seems more like a thing of the past rather than the commonplace in the relationships I see. A survey might be in order.

I agree with this sentiment, I see a lot of depressed dudes after they lose their girlfriends because they have no good outlet for their feelings. Sad reality, but this is how some men end up in TRP. Emotionally distressed and looking for an outlet, and being angry about something releases endorphins. it makes sense how a cycle can start.

Commitment issues are tied to issues relating to one’s self and views of one’s self. Regardless of gender, if you have issues with yourself, you’re likely to project it onto a partner and that makes commitment hard if that’s the end goal for that person anyway. A leading question like this one is funny, this is assuming that men always has something to offer when this argument exists for both sides, especially since all this depends on what a person prioritizes in a relationship. A person can ha…
