According to Google, the definition of privilege is, "a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group of people."

Wouldn't you say he's earned these by being smart Do you mean learned? I'm not sure how anyone could deny that intelligence is a privilege. Whether or not being hyper-intelligent yet socially awkward places one in a privileged position is another matter, but on its own, intelligence is certainly a privilege.

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't carefully consider it for fear of being politically incorrect or pissing off certain groups. We absolutely should consider all possibilities. However, I would argue that we need to be more epistemically rigorous when considering possibilities with such broad (and arguably dangerous) implications.

Post hoc reasoning: The average red pill man's largest stumbling block.

Since you're the one making the assertion, perhaps you should first explain why you believe marriage implies consent. I think that would clarify your position somewhat.

When your philosophy is to revoke the presumption of innocence from people (amongst other cringe-worthy things), then your philosophy sucks. That's not my philosophy, and thanks for asking. I believe I've said this at least three times now, but I'll state it once more. You're fighting straw men. I haven't professed to hold any of these views, and I'm willing to bet many feminists would distance themselves from them as well. Feminism, much like the men's rights movement, is a nebulous cloud of be…

Well taking the source into account isn't a bad thing to do. It's not rocket science to skim through a person's posting history and figure out their motivation. I understand why you might not feel inclined to deal with certain types of people, but in the context of this debate, dismissing my ideas based on my centrist viewpoint seems a bit extreme. You're right. I have zero sympathy towards feminist positions. Women have every right I have as a man plus an entire safety net bureaucracy behind th…

You seem disproportionately concerned with people's previous posts. Why not focus on the ideas in my current response instead of digging around my history? Your worldview must be pretty narrow if you automatically dismiss ideas held by people who don't agree with you in every respect. And, because you refuse to listen to anyone who displays even the slightest degree of sympathy towards the feminist position, you're fighting straw men.

As far as rebuttals go, that's about as weak as they come. In fact, you've been pushing that ad hominem reasoning throughout the entire debate; what a convenient method of silencing dissenters. How are MRAs and Feminists ever going to engage in meaningful discussion with that attitude? More to the point though, I agree with Apemazzle. Regardless of the existence of your rage comic's supposed double standard (and I'll note that I do agree that it exists), you couldn't have picked a less mature wa…

Heh, not in slightest. I do, however, find it bizarre that you think the bitterness of this supposed reality evidences its validity. Seems like difficulty to swallow is a prerequisite for most "truths" around here, and any other philosophical idea is hastily brushed off as a worthless platitude.

Don't make sweeping generalizations.

Depends on the form of feminism. It's a broadly defined term, but it generally describes a movement that attempts to break down social barriers facing many women, which, sorry to say, is not sexism.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
