Short answer yes; but please listen to me. I dated a religious guy in college briefly and he had sexual issues stemming from his conflicting desires vs. what his religious upbringing told him that warranted therapy. We discussed it in length, theologically and philosophically, he was very honest with me. He was 100% going to wait until marriage - and was willing to date a spiritual but not religious girl (me, and I had already been in a LTR where I had had sex before) but I realized he had wayyy…

One of the things that stood out was this guy can barely support himself, yet he dreams big and thinks that will make everything better. Not that dreaming big is bad but men like that are always insecure... Men who are serious build around you, and they do it consistently. And for yours it shows in how he talks about your male friends and your clothes (tight leggings at the gym really?). And he does not obey you, yet things "mutual obedience" is what he wants. This guy is emotionally underdevelo…

RP values are negotiated within the relationship, not dictated to you.

A confident man does not need to be seen with anyone other than the woman he is committed to. You don't have to be in the public eye, and you would be surprised at how many high value men out there are.. are not in the public eye and not chasing it. You would also be surprised to see that the number of men who need to have a bunch of women in their social circle to feel secure about themselves and how they appear to others is quite small. Yes there are some insecure vocal ones, but really? They'…

They are a loud voice but a minority of the population. Once a man bonds with you, he is not likely to lose you due to age. And if you are still single in your 30's there are still men out there, and a lot of them want someone to connect with, not someone younger who might have a lot less in common. Just ignore those guys and move on, don't dwell on it.

You've expressed your need, and that is to be a homemaker, or at the very least not a breadwinner, and he told you that was a stupid idea. It shows that you know what your needs are long term AND He, who needs to feel needed, is not going to provide that need. You have a lot of male attention that you outwardly reject. I can almost assure you one of those men will fulfill that need - and enjoy it. u/Wife_and_Mama brought up a good point, and it's true. Children and your reaction to having them. …

You should never whither under the pressure of who your man wants you to be. Also little known secret: men like being needed. He is telling you he does not want to be needed by you. The softer feminine side of you is exactly what a lot of men will adore- and he outwardly rejecting that. You're 25, my advice is move on. You're prime dating material and there are a lot of men out there who would love to give you the life you want. That is not to say that some women do want careers and their husban…

Yes. From everything else yes. He was pandering to you when he came and said that. It sounds like he really likes you though. Usually I tell women that there’s 0 chance and to gracefully walk away when their men do things that step on their boundaries, and the men are not serious about them. however some of the things you’ve said have made me think that he is serious about you. Doesn’t mean it will work out. You at the very least need to have a talk with him and explain your boundaries, tell him…

You are not being too sensitive. It’s one thing if he looks at porn and doesn’t talk to any girls, doesn’t talk about threesomes, etc, but it’s another that he’s talking to these women. He may be hiding other stuff from you. I’m gonna say this though all men look at porn. I don’t care that my husband looks at porn he finds on the internet of random people he doesn’t talk to. Some university did a study on men who didn’t watch porn but had to cancel the study because they couldn’t find any men th…

My husbands a machinist / engineer and I know that he likes when I compliment his work, even though they’re boring pieces of metal that are going to be made into a device, when I tell him he did a good job on a piece and it looks really professional I know he likes that. I don’t lie to him that I find it boring for the most part, but if a piece is especially well polished I do notice and say something, or if he figured out a smart engineering work around for the design I’ll compliment him on it.…

Guy number 1 had his chance it’s time to break things off and go for guy number two. What’s holding you back? Just break it off and explain that you met someone else who has similar life goals to you. The impact will be guy number 1 will be jealous af. Who cares. But maybe he’ll be better with the next girl. The answer he gave you over text was a bs cop out and you don’t wanna be that girl who’s with that guy who gave her a bs cop out and strings her along until the girl he actually wants to be …

The main reason it was frowned upon back in the day is these spaces often admitted prostitutes but not wives OR involved intellectual discussion groups that women wanted to and deserved to be a part of (like science groups, literary groups, etc). However now women can join those spaces for intellectual discussion, and women can go to bars - I think that a “safe space” for men to get together, no women allowed (I.e. prostitutes, women looking for flings) and just unwind, have a couple beers and d…

Does he hold up his end of the bargain? Does he do things like fix your appliances, move heavy objects, manly stuff? Or are you the only one holding up your end of the bargain? If you are the only one who is holding up your end of the bargain you need to say so and give examples of things he should be doing if he wants the current arrangement with you to continue. Men usually do what you tell them when they know you’re serious about you and are afraid of losing you or a part of you they value. T…

I agree with this but you also have to be closed minded to certain types of men. Men who have had a lot of sexual partners are big no no’s. Men with kids (unless you have kids) are no nos Men who treat you with disrespect in the name of being redpilled are no no’s. So many women forget these things and end up in unhappy toxic relationshits. Don’t ignore the nice quiet guy, the guy who holds the door open for you, the one who always pays for your meals without complaints, even if he isn’t a perfe…

Don’t let him move states to be with you, I can tell you that if he has a top girl who’s not you it’s not going to work out. It’s one thing if he likes to watch porn and finds random women (most men do it and a lot of women do too, who cares) but the fact he’s attached himself to another woman is worrisome, and I would not tolerate it.

How do I deal with feeling unattractive? I don’t, I’m attractive and so are you. If your SO is into other girls and not giving you the attention you feel you deserve sit him down and let him know that you are moving on. Sounds like you’re young and have options. Don’t settle for someone who won’t give you the attention you deserve, is obsessed over twitch girls (watching porn is different, and not a big deal, but the twitch thing is unsettling) and ultimately is making you feel insecure.

I have a high powered career, my husband does to too an extent but not as much as mine. He has a business that he owns, in addition to his day job. The business is doing something really manly and creative - he's a machinist- and I always praise him and show interest in it and his other hobbies. In addition physically I am pretty weak and can barely open a can of salsa, so he helps me around the house with things as simple as that and he is also really good at doing things that men should be abl…

We have a son but my husband said if we end up having a daughter he’s gonna spoil her vs our son who’s gonna have to man up. Example is girl wants money to go to the mall he said we should give it to her but if our son wants money he’s gonna have to work in the machine shop for my husband to earn it. Another example is that if daughter gets flat tire we’d come help her or have aaa come but son is on his own and needs to learn how to change his own tire. Not sure I agree with this. I don’t want a…

Thank you for the kind words. I think it should be under 10 for both sexes, especially if we are getting married in our late 20s and imo that’s pretty generous. Also no more than 1 of those should be a 1 night stand- rest should be relationships.

For the most part no, my friends have the worst relationships lol. I do feel very thankful that I have a happy, trusting, loving relationship. But I did a lot of work on myself to be someone that would attract the type of man I wanted.

I disagree with 1 and 2 because if a man has children with another woman, he is going to have to give resources to that woman and her children which takes resources from you and your children. How women do not see this makes me 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. The other option is he can abandon the other woman and children. Any man who would do that is not worth your time because he will eventually do it to you and it’s also just plain fucked up. Point number 3 is just sad all around for everyone involved. Both th…

Idk, as a rpw if I were still in the dating pool I would reject men and had when I was in it due to promiscuity. Promiscuous men tend to have the following problems: Kids with other women. Do you want another woman’s children taking the resources that should go to your own? If he couldn’t make it work with her and they have kids what in the heck makes you think he’s gonna make it work with you? He’s not long term. Promiscuous men have ruined the pair bonding part of their brain and are prone to …

I’m super involved with a group of people trying to solve a murder case. I’ve spent too much time on my phone and iPad and have neglected my family. It hurt my husbands feelings and probably my 10 month old son. Also I work from home and haven’t been working as hard as I should because of it. The last few days I’ve been doing it less but it’s so addicting and the people in my Facebook group want to talk a lot, which is good, and we’re onto something good, but I really need to manage my time bett…

He could have just said I wanna go jerk it in the other room I’ll be back? That would have been the respectful thing to do. Sometimes my husband does that. In our relationship porn is not something that is a problem - neither of us mind if the other watches it.

Your husband sees you as an object and does not respect you. And object to cook and clean for him and to service him sexually. The other night I was giving my husband a hand job and I had to stop for a sec because Of my carpel tunnel. I offered to finish him off and he said no no I don’t want you to injure your wrist further and create any permanent damage. If I’m tired my husband doesn’t argue with me about sex, and has repeatedly told me If I don’t feel like having sex or other relations that …

Yeah. Downplaying you’re femininity is toxic. Sadly a lot of women on ffa think it’s a good idea for some reason that I have yet to figure out.

I work in a high powered sales career in the construction industry and my overtly feminine self has been very successful. Be confident in what you say and who you are and they will take you seriously. Trust me on this one.

Idk I make a lot of money myself so i can afford to buy expensive luxury goods but I still work from home and raise my son at the same time. I worked really hard to get into the position I’m in to be able to this and I’m not using my hubby as a tool. Materialism, to some extent at least is inherit in human nature. As we evolved those who were capable of getting the best - let’s say best garden, or best hunter, best fisher, best sewer held some sort of status as they accumulated goods others coul…

Listen, you are high value dating material right? That’s the mindset you should have. Any man who would dare treat you with such obvious disrespect is not deserving of you. I am sure you have other males that are interested in you. Ditch him, with elegance and grace, and move on. Give him an explanation but don’t respond to any texts or anything from him ever again. Maybe you doing this will teach him a valuable life lesson about integrity. But maybe not and it doesn’t really matter. You’re 19. …

I regret dating an emotionally abusive jerk for many years but I’m over it. It sucks to know I wasted many years of my life on someone who would not give me the level of commitment I wanted but put me down a lot too... but the only path is forward so I’ve put it behind me. I will admit to checking his wife’s Pinterest from time to time to see if she seems happy - which she does not and I it gives me a little glee. But I’m happily married now, have house and baby boy, so my past with that guy for…
