i would go on to say that women are worse about this than men. The most slutshaming i’ve ever encountered has been from women ragging on other women

call me cynical but that couple is a pair of idiots. I sympathize with them but goddamn, the boyfriend is supposedly a devout christian, claiming his girlfriend committed “the worst sin” after having regular premarital sex for what is implied a long time, the girlfriend admitting they had regular unprotected sex for a while not thinking she would get pregnant, and they didn’t discuss what would happen if she did get pregnant. 10 weeks went by before she got an abortion pill, neither person tryin…

sometimes it’s used as an excuse for boys to be violent or mean to girls, which i think we can all agree on is not acceptable, but other times it’s just used to playfully describe the silly mannerisms you can observe in boys growing up.

having programs and systems called “girls in stem” or “girls who code” or anything feels so sexist against women, i’m surprised it’s not criticized more. It’s like they’re being viewed as not good enough to compete with men so they need their own separate groups. This isn’t sports, men and women don’t need to be separated.

i dont really feel particularly bad if these cases happen with 16 or 17 year olds, because i feel like at that age it’s really their choice. Disgusting and wrong on the teacher’s part, yes, but juniors and seniors in high school are mature enough to make their own decisions, they know what they’re getting into. But 13? I just feel so disgusted with that, the age of thirteen might be the most confusing age for boys and he just got taken advantage of :(

it’s intent is to equalize the sexes, not just women.

idk how you can call a definition a load of crap. That’s what the word means, and that’s what the original goal of the feminist movement was. It’s just too bad some crazies pushed it to “fuck men, women are better”.

If this statement were true couldn’t guys make the same excuse for having much more testosterone? Like “I know I’m being an aggressive dickhead but it’s cuz of my testosterone pumping through my body.”
