Once a man decides he wants to LTR a plate, how should he go about it? In today's hookup culture, many relationships naturally progress from a more casual fling. A man of value expresses his interest in a woman, and they end up having a sexual relationship. After long enough, one or the other may develop feelings and wish to become exclusive with the other. My question is, what if you're the one who reaches the conclusion that you want to commit to a woman? From my understanding, TRP theory hold…

Unless you're failing out of school Unfortunately, I am. I need to kick my ass into gear right now before it's too late or my life will never be the same. So far it is really helping. I'm slowly becoming much more disciplined than I have been ever before, I just need to keep compounding on these positive changes and never look back.

My root issue is I was never disciplined as a kid (raised by a single mother). As a 22 year old man I still feel like a child --smart enough to know what to do to be successful, but with too weak of will power to overcome my insatiable desire for instant gratification (in the forms of consuming internet, video games, weed, porn, etc.).

So my good friend was going through a similar slump that I currently am. He wasn't doing well in classes, had issues with motivation, couldn't focus that well, was falling behind, had a bad semester, etc. He said Vyvance was his turning point. It helped him push himself to get on his shit, and a year later he says he takes it half as often as he used to. He doesn't feel like he needs to rely on it much anymore and he's quickly becoming one of the more successful people that I've stayed in touch …

I am looking forward to your extended reply when you get the time. I'm unfamiliar with all the other drugs you referred to but it sounds like whatever they are worked extremely well for you!

Thank you for the very insightful reply. I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with these medications. I do notice the positive things you've mentioned already, but luckily none of the negatives. I'm 5'10" and 155 lbs but have been lifting heavy and trying to eat so hopefully Vyvance doesn't make it too difficult to put on weight. I hope to only take Vyvance for as long as I need to get my life back on track, and hopefully taper off while maintaining the good habits I will have formed by then.

Imo, relationships/commitments to women should be preserved for women that clearly meet the expectations you decide you value in an SO. Essentially, for a woman to get you to commit, she has to make such a solid case for herself that the decision to go through with dating her is reached with full confidence. Here, it seems like you have already developed feelings for this girl. It can be all too easy to allow such feelings to cloud your best judgment in regards to assessing this plate's worth as…

As a slightly younger (early 20s) male who's dealt with depression/somewhat similar life problems, and who is slowly improving in those regards: Lift. I've been doing so consistently for only a month now and it's amazing. It's advocated so strongly for a reason. You look better. You feel better (in general, which is amazing). You start walking differently (improved posture from squats, for me), you look at people differently, you look at yourself differently. Set small, realistic daily goals, an…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
