| – | POSTS WITH AFFIRMATIVE CLAIMS AND LOADED QUESTIONS GET MARKED WITH "DEBATE" POST FLAIR APPRECIATION DAILY MEGATHREADIf you pick someone who is a genuinely good person, the best of your best friends, it is definitely a benefit. I have someone I can share my burdens with, either financial, personal, professional, etc. I have someone who gives me meaning in life, even on the hardest days and darkest times. Yeah work sucks, but I have to earn money so I can provide for her. Yeah I'm tired, but I owe it to my wife to stay in decent shape so we can enjoy life together. Yeah I'm having a tough time with some work st… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/24 06:34 PM |

Do You Think This Woman Was In The Wrong?I was my wifes first good guy. Arguably, I wasn't even a good guy at the time. Our relationship had its fair share of hurdles and difficulties, but the key was mutual support, love, and a willingness to improve. Difficult, but possible, but also not something most people should expect. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/04/23 01:52 PM
Do you think paternity testing should be made mandatory at the point of birth?I'm wary of large organizations having access to the DNA of a large percentage of the population. Additionally, its necessarily true that the men who pumped and dumped, got someone pregnant, and then want to avoid the responsibility are going to be good enough fathers to reduce costs for the state, but perhaps. I'm willing to accept that notion, but lets not forget that the men who hope their ex is extremely promiscuous are likely not paragons of virtue either. That being said, i think I fall in… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/04/23 11:30 AM

N Count Weekly Discussion ThreadThen I guess you have big vulva energy. Jokes aside, respectfully, I can't see this behaviour as moral, whether you're a man or a woman. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/04/23 12:11 AM
N Count Weekly Discussion ThreadPretty much. All those fun experiences she wants to have, she can have with a husband if you're open and communicative. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/04/23 11:21 PM
The people who say “women should settle down in their 20s and doing that in their 30s is a bad idea” are manosphere guys, bible thumpers, and successful conservatives. In general, it’s a bad idea.Regarding your first group of points. 1. Younger people have less money true, and children can be expensive, but children aren't a lump sum payment, its over a long period of time. If you have, as a couple, maybe 1000$/month in disposable income, you could probably afford a kid. 2. Do people ever feel like they will be a perfect parent? My parents had me in their 30s and made their mistakes. A few friends had kids young in the their early 20s, and they made mistakes, but figured it out as they w… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/04/23 11:17 PM
If your significant other cheated, lied to your family/parents and they chose their side over you, what would you do?This happened to me a long time ago. I was really close with her mother and we shared a large friend group. Basically all of our friends took her side. They confronted me about it and I told my side and they called me a liar. I told them to ask my ex about a specific topic of that evening (that she left out of her story and would expose her as a liar). Some of them did and she refused to answer. Much later her mom and I crossed paths and she went on ranting and asked why I would do such a thing … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/02/23 01:39 PM
Men of PPD, to what extent are you willing to sacrifice basic morality in order to win over/impress women?I'm not really. I'm open to alternate opinions on much of politics/religion/philosophy and willing to entertain those ideas, but I'm not compromising what I think is right to win over a woman. Regarding embellishing a job, I think my job is very interesting and I love it, even if its not for most people (I work in a group home as a counsellor). So my embellishments, from their pov, are my genuine interest and enthusiasm in my job, which is sometimes offputting | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/02/23 03:36 PM
is it important for men and women to share political beliefs while dating? If you're familiar with the political compass, i'm at -3 to libertarian and 0.5 to the right. This represents an average of my views, and my beliefs about any particular topic might quite a bit more extreme than that. If you're not familiar with it, I'd describe myself as a classical liberal. Its not important to share politics, but to be similar enough on important things like parenting and being able to discuss it fairly and calmly. I love talking about politics or controversial topics with fr… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/10/21 07:44 AM
Hello! A few questions for the men in hereI wouldn't say all women are the same. There might be trends or values more popular among certain age ranges or cultures, but women aren't all the same. Why not be focused on being alpha or high value? Sure, top 10% (in the US) starts pretty high, but who not work hard to make good money and look good? To the extent I buy into the whole alpha/beta thing, I'd say no. Men who aren't assertive and confident probably aren't in other areas of their life. That isn't a bad thing as long as their partne… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/10/21 07:25 AM
“I can’t be open because they will use it against me” is a common thing I hear men say, but not women as much — why?I think theres a big difference between pointing out detrimental patterns of behaviour, and using your mistakes or failings as insults or "points" in an argument. And I think this is what is meant by using insecurities against you. For example, a man might confide in his partner that he is insecure about the amount of weight he gained during the pandemic or something. Pointing it out and trying to help is going to be interpreted very differently than calling him fat during an argument. As for wo… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/10/21 07:14 AM
Woman while attempting to stab "Trump Baby" balloon, slices herself open and gets arrested.I think the difference is that the woman in this video wasn't using her gender to get what she wanted while in the post you reference the person does the same thing, but then gets all teary eyed and "muh rights" while the anti-Trump protester didn't seem to do that. Though it is nice to see justice getting served. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 07/06/19 03:03 PM

A man files for divorce when his wife decides she wants a baby, after puting him through three years of sexless marriage.Maybe. I'll still err on the side of him pointing out she offered nothing more than that. But I'll watch the video when I get home and see if my mind changes. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/03/19 07:53 PM
A man files for divorce when his wife decides she wants a baby, after puting him through three years of sexless marriage.I haven't watched the video, so I don't know the context, but I read that quote with the interpretation that being able to have sex doesn't make you a good partner. Even if its the best sex. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/03/19 04:13 PM
