Anyone here have any insights regarding Big 5 personality traits, via Jordan Petersons' work, as it relates to possible breakdown in relatioships?Interesting stuff. I think we're all capable of Dark Triad traits and they must be integrated otherwise they unconsciously start manifesting. My experience is we have to recoginze those traits in ourselves and conciously choose to restrain or channel them (eg set boundaries, gyow, etc.). Otherwise we run the risk of Nice Guy syndrome = guy appears nice but really is a passive aggressive asshole especially when bitter and resentful. | /r/MGTOW | 13/02/18 03:29 AM

Anyone here have any insights regarding Big 5 personality traits, via Jordan Petersons' work, as it relates to possible breakdown in relatioships?Thank you. I need to digest your thoughts a while and check out that paper. It's tragic what's happened to our culture. It's just stupid needless suffering. | /r/MGTOW | 13/02/18 12:33 AM
Anyone here have any insights regarding Big 5 personality traits, via Jordan Petersons' work, as it relates to possible breakdown in relatioships?Watch "2017 Personality 17: Biology and Traits: Agreeableness" on YouTube https://youtu.be/G1eHJ9DdoEA At 46:30 Peterson references some of what I'm talking about and it got me thinking. For example: Temperaments or Personalities at odds on spectrum: Wife - low in Openness and high in Conscientiousness. Husband - high in Openness and low in Conscientiousness. Result: Wife can't relax until house is spotless, uses shame, globalizing moral judgement, can't consider possibility she needs to let go.… | /r/MGTOW | 12/02/18 10:08 PM
Anyone here have any insights regarding Big 5 personality traits, via Jordan Petersons' work, as it relates to possible breakdown in relatioships?Understanding why things are breaking down between men and women can be very helpful in getting through redpill rage. A great deal of the problems we're seeing are the results bad marriage contract and Gynocentric society. However we can't stop there otherwise bitterness and resentment can take over. I'm just curious about how mgtow is processing some of the more nuanced causes. For example if you tend towards "agreeableness" as a personality trait and wife/girlfriend is high in "disagreeablenes… | /r/MGTOW | 12/02/18 08:25 PM

My Interesting Dinner...It's scary what can happen to a person (MGTOW included) when we don't own our contribution to the destruction of our lives. Her idological possession allowed her to externalize responsability, her life looses meaning, which leads to bitterness, hatred, depression, kill all men, etc. Owning one's shit is hard, especially when the narrative that surrounds you makes it easy to avoid the painful truth about who you are. You may not have been "polite" but at least you were honest with her and your fr… | /r/MGTOW | 02/02/18 08:02 PM
Why Men find it so hard to understand women -What Women WantUntil taking the red pill, I found it hard to understand women. The true reasons/motives behind their actions were generally so aweful that I doubted my instincts and blamed myself. I just couldn't concieve it was possible they were exactly as aweful as they behaved. | /r/MGTOW | 15/12/17 10:23 PM
Question to mgtows that are fathers. If you could go back would you still have childreen?I didn't have children because I was lacking something. Look at this community, many posts are about passing on learned experience and wisdom for the benifit of others. By passing on that experience it benifits the community, the giver and receiver. Others may have the capacity to be great parents, but choose not to for numerous and valid reasons. One can live a fulfilled and meaningful life either way. Just remember, parent or not, if you're not giving of yourself to others in some way, you're … | /r/MGTOW | 13/12/17 04:50 PM

Question to mgtows that are fathers. If you could go back would you still have childreen? Its not worth destroying your life (ie; getting married) but I willingly go through the hell for my children today. If I knew what I know now, i would have used surrogacy (possibly even adopt) and been financially prepared to devote the time and energy required to parent well by myself. That being said, my kids delight and inspire me daily. It's difficult to objectively answer your question because it's so painful to imagine what my life would have been like if I never had children. | 1 | What incentive does a stay at home wife with 3 kids have to be remotely nice, respectful, decent, etc. to her husband?I just tell them I'm married and eagerly show them a picture of my beautiful family. However, I let the question stand and inquisitivly ask them what incentive a wife would have to refrain from hatred and contempt. Just curious? Lol... | /r/MGTOW | 30/11/17 06:53 AM
You know why there is the stereotype of the "Misogynist Old Man"?The lyrics are so true and ironically I completely missed the meaning in my blue pill days. "Ooh La La - the Faces with Lyrics" https://youtu.be/HiTVLVEFEMc LYRICS Poor old granddad I laughed at all his words I thought he was a bitter man He spoke of woman's ways They'll trap you, then they use you Before you even know For love is blind and you're far too kind Don't ever let it show I wish that I knew what I know now When I was younger I wish that I knew what I know now When I was stronger The c… | /r/MGTOW | 02/11/17 08:42 PM

The Manipulated ManStill married. Dead bedroom. Im focusing on kids, health, career, and starting a new business. Trying to hold things together without loosing my soul and avoiding conflict with wife. Damage control. There is zero incentive for my wife to kind, respectful, etc. Given the power she has to destroy me and the kids; her feelings are the ultimate arbiter of her solipsistic universe. All her standards are completely arbitrary except regarding what her girl friends project, think or feel. Marriage today… | /r/MGTOW | 12/10/17 07:56 PM
Boy Scouts will allow girls to joinLol. Good point. It really makes me sad though. Scouts was the only real masculine influence in my life as a boy and I learned a great deal from it (raised by single mom). The values and principals taught by the scouts shaped and benefited my life greatly, however due to my lack of awareness regarding female nature (ie, redpill knowledge), those same honorable principals set me up to be an easily manipulated, disposable White Knight, utility. A boy committed to being a good man, who places women… | /r/MGTOW | 12/10/17 07:36 PM
Boy Scouts will allow girls to joinI just signed my 10 yr old son up for Scouts a few weeks ago. Bought his uniform ($100+) , paid dues ($90), signed up for camp out ($60), etc. We just went out on our first scout camp last weekend and I was horrified at how much scouts have changed. This enormously bitchey fat ass woman was the boy scout camp director! Wtf? At least 40% of the camp staff were women. There were women everywhere. Wives and daughters all over, just there to tell husband's and boys what to do. The camp was nothing l… | /r/MGTOW | 12/10/17 04:41 AM

My World for the Last Several Days.....And This Guy Says It Better Than I Can....Agreed. The people we helped were near by and friends of friends. I did not go across town to do rescue, I wanted to be near my family in case I needed to get my own family out. There simply was no way emergency services were going to be able to get many of the people out in my area. I think most of the guys here would have done the same thing. I received help form other men in the neighborhood as well. Offers to borrow generators, candles, ice, gasoline, food, etc. At one point a neighbor let m… | /r/MGTOW | 31/08/17 05:40 PM
My World for the Last Several Days.....And This Guy Says It Better Than I Can....Lol. I was "Awakened while married". Won't tell the story now, however the comments on female nature here help to keep me sane and less easily shamed and manipulted. I have amazing kids and don't want to loose everything I've built. If I had the information years ago, that you guys have now I never would have married. | /r/MGTOW | 31/08/17 05:23 PM
My World for the Last Several Days.....And This Guy Says It Better Than I Can....As much as I know society does not appreciate us, I could not sit by when a couple miles away people needed my help. I felt conflicted waiding out in those waters but a friend's frail grandmother was not going to walk a mile through chest deep water. Once I was out there, I couldn't help but wonder who else is stuck and needs help, so we made more trips in and out. The wife complained about me going out, then later complained that I did not do enough (after watching all the social media virtue s… | /r/MGTOW | 31/08/17 01:49 PM

MGTOW Fiction Novel - thoughts?I was absolutely blind to female nature for most of my life and my deepest concern is for good blue pill men to be informed, equipped and able to recognize their value/strengths. I remember watching "Gran Torino" in my blue pill days and Clint eastwoods character reminded me of so much of my grandfather who i deeply loved and respected as a teen. My grandfather died when I was in highschool and I knew that something great was lost in my life, but I could not define it (ie, the last vestages of a… | /r/MGTOW | 27/05/17 04:03 AM
