Why the hell did you get downvoted? Last I checked this subreddit wasnt the place for stupid cheap jokes like that.

obvious troll is obvious. Stop wasting your time and just leave this subreddit. That and deserving downvotes are always fun to give.

How I always thought of it was that its a completely arbitrary system that works because it shows how attractive that girl is to the person in question. Both people are anonymous so its not like we will ever actually see the person and judge them for ourselves. That's not the point. Think of it more like flavor text for context.

Stop holding hope and acting like a NiceGuy(tm) - you are so far in the friendzone closet you're already in Narnia. I have to remember this one when I deal with some bros I know. That is so blunt its hilarious.

Also, that one doesnt creep up on you. You can clearly see when a person is more than slightly off their rocker.

any male with testicles producing testosterone can pack on muscle. Pretty sure they got pills for the ones that dont, so I'd say pretty much everyone can.

Makes sense. So just ignore the oneitis and get back to the self-improvement. And once Im in a position that allows me selection, then I tackle the lady issues. Thanks for the advice.

Ok, Quick question. Im right at this point (recovering from depression and anxiety issues, with manageable and ever-decreasing relapses). To help myself recover I have gotten out more - and found new friends, started getting out of my room more and immersing myself into society. The issue is that Im getting a case of heavy oneitis for one of the girls i had befriended (having decided that right now I only want casual relationships so I can get my shit straight) and have made a point not to escal…

Negative, angry, pessimistic people typically have unreconcilable differences in the way they look at life from someone more positive, usually some emotional scarring of some form. There is very little you can do in the short run to deal with them, so try not to let them get in your way when you want to do something. They will say no because they dont think they can do it. That being said never be cruel to them, that just makes their problems harder.

This. Take the time out to get over your own issues before you start dealing with the challenge of understanding and communicating with other people. Id suggest going to find your guidance counselor and specifically asking for a male one, because it looks to me like you wont be comfortable with a female one. If not, find a church or some other social support building and ask to speak to someone who can help you.

I realized this awhile ago. My first real experiences with women was in grade 7 at a private school. I was in a class of 8 - me and 7 girls, and I hadn't hit puberty yet, and they.... were rushing themselves through it. To top it off i was an immigrant, so we didn't get along at all. There was alot of friction between me and them, and to top it off, I had to work with them everyday; so every day I just disqualified myself to them. Of course I hit puberty (that shit really wasn't graceful, it was…

Because you upvote them anyway - and also because they probably havent read the sidebar. To be honest the mods should just put it in the header to look there before posting articles or asking questions to cut out the redundant posts. And Im an idiot, because its there. Herpderp.

The honest truth is that Kinowear is kinda like that for me too. I dont wear blazers out everywhere - and looking around that site really makes me feel out of my element. But the real gem on that site is their secrets to style guide. It forces you to look at how you dress and how you look and say "Is this really how I want to look?" I put it there because of that, not because I want you to think you need to look like that to do well. At the stage you and I are at to be honest, Im probably gettin…

I was where you are at less than a month ago. I had just shocked myself out of a slippery slope of depression and anxiety when I found seddit and asked essentially the same question that you did. I didnt have the balls to make a standard forum post and instead messaged a bloke who's posts I liked and straightup asked for help(u/mythrowawayseddit, if your wondering, hes the shit.). Im saying this to say that your not alone in this. Everything that this guy said helps so goddamn much its not funny…

keyboard warrior white knights Thats hilarious. But no, I think it should, because the people who need to see this will take the value out of it. Fuck the rest of them. If it helps 1 person, then Im all for it.

Thats completely unhealthy. Honestly, following that idea was the reason i have wrapped up in depression. If there is one thing I learned, its that talking to people is a good thing (assuming you pick the right time and dont talk to them just to dump your problems on them all the time). Thinking like this only detaches you - so if I had to guess Id say this writer was in or got advice from someone who's been burned. I find I really dont like some of this seddit stuff when people tell me to outri…

Successful reddit hack. Another place for some clothing advice is [Kinowear](kinowear.com). They have some solid articles on how to develop style. At least look at some of the style articles even if their particular style doesnt suit you.
