Can’t unsee the hitler thing now... do you have sample agreements available online or resources available to guide to a state specific form/sample?

I like the 2-2-5-5 as well. We split the week days. I get M/T she gets W/Th and we alternate every Fri-Sunday. Allows for regular schedules during the week and also allows for full weekends to have fun with the kids.

I do have a few coming up that thankfully I’m not in. Gonna send a card and let them know I can’t make it. Good luck with the DJ gigs man. Bills still gotta get paid so it’s not like you can avoid them all together.

Wow, not sure I’d be able to handle that. Good for you making that leap.

I am always looking to bag a bridesmaid... very short term.

Lol I am quite the throat punch supporter! I find that people are uncomfortable around the topic and people going through it. They question if they could be next and they can’t deal with others emotions. That said he is my best friend and has been more supportive than not so his cock breath will be forgiven.

Be healthy. Do a consult with a lawyer, don’t pay until you have to. Make a budget AND STICK TO IT. Talk to someone, therapist/support group/whatever. Make sure the support is from positive outcomes, don’t go to the bitter group of guys you know. Take your time and consider the ramifications of any agreement before saying yes.

I’ve had a few therapists this last year or two. The only guy wasn’t able to connect with the STBXW at all. Kept us from making progress or giving me personal insight to her. Female providers are trained to not be biased against you in most cases and this is true. They almost always see the errors on both sides and can usually connect with the wife or STBX better.

We’re just about a month into her telling me she wants out. Cleaning and prepping the house to sell, someone leaves after the kids go to bed every night so they notice. School has said my oldest is acting out. I’ve seen it at home too. It’s time to tell them just not sure how or what to say.

We ended up on a 2-2-5-5 schedule with alternating weekends. I have Mon/Tue she has Wed/Th and we split Friday through Sunday.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed... I’ve already seen a few comments from her “support group” of other divorced moms who were in abusive relationships telling her how green the grass is on the other side. We never got physical or abusive at all and all of sudden I’m the worst. Saving literally every text message and checking account histories back 6 months to assure nothing odd gets moved.

Awesome info, we have a semi detailed packet to complete... side note how in the world is an entire divorce and family relegated to random packets for whatever you need to split? All these feelings and history relegated to line items on a legal doc. Feels cold, almost as cold as our shared time with the kids until we sell the house and split.

I’d be interested in seeing a schedule they used. I like the 3-4 option vs a 5-2 but I want to share every other weekend. If we could ideally have Friday and Saturday rotate I would love it. Doesn’t seem like an option right now.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
