Haha yes I was using it as a figure of speech but now I know the correct term so thank you. You learn new things every day.

I'd say "shocking the muscles" is more of a figure of speech. The human body adapts very quickly new stimuli so essentially "shocking your muscles" is saying change your stimuli and your body will react. Whether you are changing to a new lift, adding 10 pounds, or just picking up the intensity of your lift, your muscles will have to compensate for the all-of-a-sudden change in routine. Even changing the angle of your lifts can help target either different muscles or different areas of the muscle…

It took me about a year altogether. I did Insanity for the first 2 months and then weight lifted the rest (look up the afterburn effect. I took some tips from there as well as just straight up heavy lift routines). The biggest thing I stress to people and what I found was the biggest help is make sure you are drinking enough water every day. I cannot stress this enough. I found that when I was drinking enough water the weight seemed to fall off faster. That coupled with a healthy diet and regula…

I went from 28% down to 10%. The biggest difference I could tell is how much more willing women were to being approached by me. As a fatty it's like they were repelled or disgusted by my approach but now it's the opposite.

I don't know why I dropped weight so fast either. For me I started a strict low carb diet and was doing Insanity 6 times a week. I think Insanity just worked because it was such an intense workout I wasn't used to. After those first two months I started lifting and running instead and I wasn't dropping weight nearly as quickly.

Absolutely. I couldn't agree more. Being in shape is great for initial attraction but if you have no game at all you won't get very far with a 9.

Good for you man. I can tell you from personal experience that working on yourself is the best thing you can do. More specifically losing weight. After losing 75 lbs my confidence skyrocketed, I felt so much better health wise, looked great, and women acted so much differently towards me. It's as if someone lowered the difficulty on romance. The night and day difference of how people in general treat you when you're in shape as opposed to overweight is astounding.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
