Agreed. I have horrible self-image issues because I didn't take care of my body when I was younger. Posts like this remind me that no amount of dieting and surgeries can make me look like this, but looking like Sharon Stone should not be my goal. Accepting my unique body is the goal. Finding a man who doesn't subscribe to such shallow, and misogynistic ideas is a secondary goal.

One of the few men I've seen who can pull of a mustache. 😍

The only way I would have a night stand is if I was born a man. That way there's no risk of me being left pregnant, it greatly reduced my risk of assault and STDs, no slut shaming, and I would basically have guaranteed organisms. For women, there really isn't that much physical or emotional benefit for sleeping with a guy so quickly.... outside of pickme validation.

Any guy who fixates that much on another woman's looks is because he wants to fuck her and can't stand the fact that she's out of his league/doesn't dress the way he likes.

Sounds like she's looking to adopt a teenager.

It's interesting. Back in the day, women still had to be HV for men to be interested in them: attractive, great cook, homemaker, mother, etc. But now that the roles are switched and women have their own income, men bring nothing to the table. They can't cook, build shelves or make us climax. They have no hobbies outside watching sports and porn. No drive. No focus. They honestly get it good nowadays. They can be listless couch potatoes and women still go above and beyond to provide income, child…

You spend all the energy planning the date and then he'll just nix every idea you have, "I don't like that restaurant. I dunno if I wanna do that. I dunno what I wanna do. Why don't YOU choose for once." FYI, this inability to think for himself when it comes to entertainment and food will plague your relationship forever.

Not all men, but an alarming number of them. Not all men, but you ptobably cross paths with, work with, socialize with several male predators/abusers every single day.

Ever heard of the Duggars? There's a famous story about how the mom wasn't home and JimBob had to cook his children dinner. He out BBQ sauce on some tuna fish and he just thought that was soooo inventive. He tells everyone the story about how totally incompetent he was at just cooking a meal. It's embarrassing but he treats it like a life accomplishment.

Flip-flops. Specifically flip-flops worn outside a pool/beach/locker room. Every guy I know who wears flip-flops wears them 24/7 no matter the weather or occasion. Uncoincidentally, they also have poor hygiene, terrible planning skills and have filthy homes.

I dunno how I would feel about my husband reaching out to a former LT lover after she had a baby. A small "congratulations," is fine I guess, but the whole "tied together," is really bothersome. He had 6 years to treat that relationship as something actually special. It's only meaningful because they were together six years, not because their souls are intertwined or what the fuck ever.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
