I appreciate your thorough and logical response. Nothing sensational or tribal about it, just objective questions and scientifically-agreed biases in the methodology to let one draw their own conclusion on the validity.

Don’t worry about the immature haters. You conquered a mountainous goal in your life and should be proud. It’s not about the sex, it’s about checking off an item on the bucket list. Proud of you!

Screw the critics, I’m REALLY proud of you bro! I know how scary that can be, and as soon as you open your mouth it doesn’t quite come out exactly as intended. The “I don’t know what to say” response is certainly a curveball, so no sweat there either. You did a great job. Full stop. Walk with your chest a little higher today!

Thanks! Rich Dad Poor Dad completely changed how I see the world and my future. I’m unfamiliar with Models but will look it up. How to win friends is ready to go on my bookshelf and I’ll start it tonight. — Personally, I know what I want to do but I have a need for certainty and give into analysis paralysis. For instance, I know I want to start investing in real estate and have about $50k to start. But it’s such a big chunk of change and lifelong commitment that I’m not sure what angle to take. …

Which of these do you think are the best of the best must-reads? Also, my issue is taking action so any recommendations there is appreciated. Will watch as many as I can, but your perspective is appreciated.

Working out is a good idea but there are other ideas to consider too as there’s an absurd amount of things to do if you live in San Francisco. However, you need to develop interests, hopefully social ones. People like people who are interesting and have something to share, so learn something. Guitar, music, painting, skateboarding, etc.And know that making friends takes time— months if not years. Download the Meetup app. Go to one that looks interesting. Look up something to do today on SF.funch…

I respectfully disagree and wonder what effect having a father leave played on your outlook versus not having one at all. I can imagine that was very impactful. Well, I agree that things are different but not in a negative way— just as having different parents would lead to different outcomes. I feel no lacking whatsoever and having two parents that didn’t get along would probably have affected me negatively more than one parent in a stable environment. Sure, I wasn’t taught certain masculine sk…

Did you grow up in this situation? I grew up without a father. Mother used to half joke about getting both days since she did it all. I have nothing else going on today, so there’s nothing wrong with me going “Hey thanks again for raising me well.” It doesn’t take away from anyone.

What you say does not make sense. My “Cool story, bro” comment was to a long rant someone posted about how cool they are with little help to OP. Then you jump in to try and make someone feel bad. Aren’t we here to be supportive of everyone’s growth? Yeah you can hide behind a screen and say whatever we want, but think about if it’s helpful or not to the human on the other side, ya know? It doesn’t phase me, but some people would be hurt by your words, which I’m sure you don’t actually want to ha…

People take time to reply. Yes, go after more. Worst case scenario you have two girls. Not so bad!

Do NOT reply again. Let Days go by even and ping her at the end of the week with something like “Canceled flight back home from Bangkok leave you stranded again?” Slow down. You had an entire script here and in other responses so there’s no excuse that you felt flustered and didn’t know what to say. It’s one thing if you’re talking in real time, but look over all the advice we’re trying to give you and absorb it. You also went full beta asking her when you can see her. Numerous people stated lea…

I think your first line is genius. The rest, hell no. Do NOT write out emoticons, especially “;D” and do not say you’ve always wanted to date a stewardess. Well, at least I wouldnt— it’s a bit too fast I think. Again, you’re just hanging out with another human. It’s implied it’s a date. Dating to adults means you are simply going out to be with someone whereas I have a feeling you’ve already turned her into your girlfriend in your head. It’s not that stating you want to date a stewardess is bad,…

You’re very welcome, amigo. You do whatever you think is best. You need no one else’s permission. The idea about calling is to build a connection and make it harder to say “no.” It shows confidence, allows her to hear your voice and connect better, and it’s harder to say “no” vocally than by text. There’s nothing to overthink on the phone. Your only objective is to secure a date. Script: -Hey ___ how are you? -Refer to something you spoke about. Don’t go right to the question. This shows you pai…

Stop focusing on the sex part. Your goal is not sex, it’s to get to know her better. Obviously she is attracted to you so that alone will do most of the work. You just have to get yourself in front of her. Take her on a unique date to really pique her interest, like a photo walk or something as random as telling her you’ve never baked bread before and have always wanted to try and then bake bread together at your place (no it won’t be good bread but that’s not the point). Sex is a natural part o…

Interesting people attract new people in their life. To become interesting, by definition, you need interests. You're a good person. You a likeable. When you think about a girl, you imagine doing new and interesting things together like going on a trip, having her tell you about art and that she wants to see a new gallery exhibit, or her favorite musician is in town and you should go see it together, right? They want that, too. If all you (mostly) do is read theoretical dating books, play video …

When you say you rinse and repeat the same approach, do you mean just straight up asking someone for coffee and then you bring you during the date, leaving roughly a 1/4 hookup rate and 2/4 a new friend? Or is there more?

And that's exactly what he will say because if #1 on Google is your goal, keep going. But it's not, building a following is. #1 on Google can certainly help, but you can have 100k views a month and it doesn't mean anyone finds value and sees you as an authority. Try writing great content and gust writing on blogs with a following first with back links to your original post. Focus on building true followers, not the buzzword mechanisms. And perhaps what you're doing is the perfect step now in you…

You're focusing on the wrong thing. It's not all about SEO. SEO is to get views. Views are to have people learn and build trust in your brand so they become a fan, buy your product or whatever it is your goal is, and build your army. You spent a long time writing that I'm guessing, it's optimized for SEI maybe but not for conversion, and now that I clicked and you got me to the page, I skimmed two paragraphs and didn't see anything but filler so I clicked out. I will not be coming back to your w…

If she really does have a boyfriend, you back off sexually. Down vote all you want, you're a real jerk if you go after someone you know is spoken for. They're a jerk, too, but so are you. Imagine you have a girlfriend and someone did what you think is alright when you're on the winning side. Don't be a dick.

It's about not being attached to an outcome. If you go in saying your goal is to kiss a girl, anything less is failure. Go in with the attitude that success will be if you smoke at the end of the night. Maybe it's making a joke and the girl gently lunches your arm or just laughs or holds a 3min conversation with just you.

Deleting now. Thanks so much! It isn't naming a particular person or situation and seemed pretty generic, so I decided to put it here even though I did in fact read the rules. Thanks for the clarification!

"Hey it's Zacharygzv from the party the other night! Was cool meeting you. I'm free tomorrow night-- let's grab a drink." or put your own flair on it, like "I've been wanting to try a new Mexican place for awhile and could use a second opinion on their food. When might you be available?" Don't overthink it, but KEEP TEXTS TO A MINIMUM. Your only goal is to meet again, not to talk to her. The least amount of texts, the better. I wouldn't worry so much about waiting for twenty minutes between each…

A shame to hear Feinstein say that. Curious to see its context. She's actually a pretty solid Senator who has done a ton of good. Edit: Who downvotes a comment like this? It's a perfectly valid point that adds to the discussion.
