17	oooooooooooooooooof STEM is a solid road to financial independence. Financial independence tends to lead to a better balanced relationship by eliminating economic dependence. My daughters all went STEM, as did my wife. To answer another comment about liberal arts. They are a good thing to take and can be interesting. 1	Feminism is a major impediment to egalitarianism by trying to hijack all issues e.g. racial justice and turning it about feminism (post by selfdisciplinedlife). Toxic feminism #4 - hegemonic feminism. It sort of depends what you call feminism. First and second wave, I generally support. Things like equal pay for equal work. Not sure I support 3rd wave (definition varies) and certainly not intersectionality or TERFs. It has clearly failed in minority communities and has mostly benefited middle class white women.
