You're on a whole 'nother level with this post. Brilliant stuff.

Used to listen to sports talk everyday when driving. Now it's off for 80% of the time. The wonders it's done for my psyche after and before work is awesome. My heads completely clear during my commute. Wish I could replicate elsewhere.

What amazes me is the fact that websites like Twitter are so popular. You have people stumping on them for hours daily, eagerly waiting for some celebrity to tweet back at them because they have nothing better to do. I'm amazed anyone has time for it. All social media is built on generating and receiving attention, but Twitter takes it to a level that manages to astound me again and again.

The greater majority of people are too lazy to make their own lives interesting, so they prefer to live vicariously through celebrities instead.

I can't say that I do. I majored in an area that was pretty far removed from that culture within the campus. I more or less didn't bother to seek out any MR groups because I wasn't at the point where the ranting of these groups drove me nuts.

Proud that my alma mater has the cajones to stand up to this nonsense. College is about challenging your pre-conceived notions of the world and opening yourself to some potentially painful truths.

No, not unless he's willing to save himself. The hardest thing to do in life is to leave people by the wayside that you care about, but now have fundamentally have nothing else in common with. Obviously family and blood relationships don't really apply. I have friends now that are doing very different things with their lives now than me, even though we were all birds of the same feather in high school. They have kids, wives, houses, and have chosen a life that I fundamentally don't want for myse…

The fact of the of the matter is that stuff like this occurs all the time. Young women constantly and willingly trade their sexuality for opportunity. What happened here is as old as time itself but it's more fuel for the outrage fire that can only be stroked by fools.

Basically, it's not about over or undereducated. It's how bullshit educated or real education. Perhaps the title does a poor job of outlining this point but this is the crux of the argument here. And it seems that the more time a woman spends in a purely academic environment, the more they can succumb to getting caught up a great deal of the beliefs that are peddled there.

I don't disagree, but I feel that the article discusses women who have spent way too much time in academics as a opposed to being intelligent as a whole with or without a BS from a university.

Trust me, it does not cost a damn thing to live on your own here (Midwest). You can get a nice 1 bedroom apartment for like $500 a month. I've even seen some go for $450 ish. I could also cite other examples like the fact that they've been bouncing from job to job for the better part of 5 years after their employers get tired of their shit. I just thought that was the easiest one.

I have some acquaintances that display several of these traits: Parasitic - They still live with their parents. Reckless - All have been arrested and one spent some time in jail. Charming - All three of them managed to date bombshells for the better part of senior year, dumping them to get with other girls. I could go on and on. But the fact is that these types of guys effortlessly clean house with girls.

Had one of my old high school buddies spend about 9 months over there on a school trip. Guy's only like 5'5", but he cleaned house with the girls while over there. He was a real party animal, and he regrets even coming back, as the effort he had to put in there to spin plates was absolutely minimal compared to back here in the midwest.

If you want to throw them a bone once and a while that's fine. Under no circumstances should you commit anything financially before she opens up to you sexually, however. And if bugs you and she refuses to come around to your point of view, next her, and find a girl that is willing to help chip in. Nobody likes a cheapskate.

Currently the second one from the top: I miss my last boyfriend sometimes. I don't really know why we broke up. I think I just wanted to feel the feeling of falling in love again, and I wasn't getting it with him. That relationship had a lot of romance and excitement -- we had a romantic "how we met" story and it was very love-at-first-sight. He decided to move across the country to be with me when we had known each other for maybe 1 month? And we had a happy, beautiful life together. There was …

Girls don't give a fuck if your status is positive or negative, only that it is HIGH. Obviously they would prefer the 8 or 9, someone like a well respected musician or CEO, but they are A-OK with the -8, -9 too. Absolute value. That is an interesting way of looking at it. Although I feel it's much more true one the "positive" end of the number line, it's a damn good point. Charisma trumps all.

This guy's already been ostracized for his conservative beliefs within the journalism community here. Even though I totally understand where he's coming from with an article like this, fanning the flames of the fire in a town like this is a terrible idea if he wants to establish himself as a writing professional. This is very good advice. Just because they're your co-workers doesn't mean they're any different than girls in everyday life. Maintain your frame, don't give into their nonsense. Even if it's your boss, be as polite as possible while still standing up for yourself. If you're being victimized by drama, hold your ground and maintain your frame - hives of women will collectively shit test you to break your frame. Roissy had a very good thread about this a long time ago. I can't for the life of me find it but it basically echos these sentiments. Maximize what you're good at and use it to get girls. Hobbies show that her life isn't completely ruled by the social (bar) scene, and that she is capable of being relatively independent, and capable of being happy without a man intimately in her life. It never ceases to blow my mind how a region which produced some of the most feared warriors the world has ever seen has degenerated into this current state.

I've always abided by the mantra that cute girls are for dating/harem and hot girls are just for quick fun.

What I'd give to be able to read one of their comments, and then roll over an Imgur link to display a picture of the commenter. It would be quite the tool to validate or invalidate what they may be saying.

Ultimately I'd rather have us stay completely away from things like this unless they provide a near perfect example to what we discuss here. I'd rather not see this sub divulge into another subreddit where we link something and circlejerk over why we don't agree with it. Of course I'm still quite open to helping people who come here with (legitimate) questions and such. Yeah there's a ton of pushovers on this website that make great examples of what not to do, but I'm just worried that will star…

I see what you're trying to say, however I retort with "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink it." A large group of people can find this place, but it takes an individual to make a decision to look further into the matter. It is ultimately up to oneself to look at and consider what we have to say.

Frankly I'm getting a little sick of posts like this. I personally do not give a shit about what the rest of this website thinks of us. We also have moderators for dealing with the obnoxious people who come and shit up our subreddit.

What I find the most hilarious is the bit at the end where they have bars where women pay for the company of men. What's equally depressing is the fact that some of these women are in debt up to their eyeballs because they're so desperate to have men in their lives. All in all a fascinating read.

Yes it is. It is just much harder than it used to be. As long as a man's sexual market value is equal to or higher than that of a woman's. The relationship will likely be a good one provided that both parties don't let themselves go. The nature of this subreddit, with regards to people waking up and discovering the truth about sexual dynamics, makes people a little bit more defensive and weary than they need to be, IMO. However it is important to recognize and assign reason to the patterns that …

I'd say that the article he uses in that post points out a strong trend that we are seeing now today. With the rise of feminism encouraging women to "take action" for themselves (for one, by fucking as many "hot" guys as possible) we see A LOT of very promiscuous girls that are college aged or in their twenties. These girls want the guys that are masters of their emotions, (the alpha males), who get the vast majority of the casual sex. Recently, PUAs who simply aim for as many casual relationshi…

Heartiste has posted several times about this effect. That is, that women during their fertile week find the alpha bad boys far more alluring than the beta hubby at home. Birth control supresses the hormones that lead to the urges of hypergamy to enter the female mind and start looking for a "better" man. So it's not surprising to see women on BC chasing less Players and Bad Boys. The article sort of gets it right in regards to a study it cites. Saying that women on BC were more satisfied with f…
