Man, that’s what they do. Same happened to me. They wait ten years to get max benefits in court and then leave. All I can say is time heals wounds. Be strong and don’t fall for the guilt trip.

Yep, they are only nice when they need something. Then back to being treated like crap.

Right, it’s not valued anymore. It’s just fun time until they are ready to cash out for prizes. I learned my lesson. They want kids just to break up the marriage for child support and spousal support. Marriage is intended to raise a family but they see it as $ and freedom after they have kids. Sad. Woman are in business and men are in love.

Sorry, this was planned at marriage. She waited for the right time to pull the rug. They don’t value marriage vows anymore. Marriage is just playtime for them until they get tired of it. Then it’s either you’re abusive or she needs to find herself again. Same playbook. You need to lawyer up quick. 5 kids and possible spousal support is no joke. Go for 50/50 custody if you can.

It’s out of your control. Sooner you let her go, the better you will be and not care. My ex tried the same thing. Tried to lose weight and go out and party like she is in her 20’s. She gained it all back and still single years later. 🤣 I can care less now. Time heals.

That’s rough. One maybe if she really really regretted it, but 4! I couldn’t because she destroyed the marriage to check the grass on the other side with 4 dudes. Every time I would look at her I would see 4 different dudes with my wife. Heck, might be more. 🤢

Same here bro. They all do the same thing. Turn off like a light switch as if they never knew you. Sleeping with the enemy for years. I will never trust again because they all have that capability.

Ah man. She was with another guy though. Can you get past that? Another guy with your woman. Can you sleep next to her peacefully? Do you trust her to make your food? Finances? She said she didn’t love you and now she does again? She can turn love on and off like a light switch? Nah,she just needs help and wants that comfort back. Once trust is broken that is it for me. Let’s say you get back together. The trust is gone and that same love is not there as it will remain in the back of your mind. …

We get penalized for making more and excelling in life. Then you have to basically bribe her to get 50/50. System is messed up. We basically pay to spend time with our kids.

Jail time? Right….. What a waste of court time. Plus, doesn’t she realize the fact that jail time means loss of job for you if you’re employed. That means no more child support coming any time soon to her until you’re hired again. They get so much into their emotions that they don’t think logically. All they do is sit and think about how they can mess with you instead of being a more productive adult.

😂 We all think our choice of woman is great in the beginning. We ignore all the red flags and nobody can tell us otherwise that she is not a great woman. Next thing you know, years down the line they change. They all have the ability to change. Chameleons. Now you’re on the hook for support. Don’t do it, especially as an older guy. You just mentioned that it was a mess to get out of before. Why risk it again? You would have little to no chance of financial recovery if you divorced again. Plus, m…

At this point she is looking for help. Don’t do it. When she is all done with school and you helping raise her kids, the relationship is done. You will be left with your pockets hanging out and homeless. Don’t be a step dummy. If she gets pregnant like someone else said, it’s a wrap for you. Child support.

It definitely will get better. We all feel like this in the beginning. What did I do wrong? What could I have done better? Nothing you could do once she makes her mind up. I’m a much stronger person and don’t even think about my ex like that anymore as I see that TRUE her now. It will get better for sure!

Sorry man. Yes, they often leave us when we need them most. It’s a challenging time and it will either make you or break you. For me, it just gave me the fuel to better myself, protect my heart and never fall for marriage again. No way would I let her destroy my life. You only have one. It’s a hard battle though. Not going to lie but you can do it. Time heals. I was in a marriage for 15 years and she just walked away. It was terrible to break up but I have some much more peace now that I didn’t …

Don’t worry about her. Enjoy your peace and get out there and better yourself. We all go through this phase. After a while you won’t even care about her at all. Never end your life over a woman. Divorce is so common now days it’s not even funny. They just want to play house and move on with your cash and kids when the they get bored. Hypergamy sets in and they want to monkey branch to the next guy when they feel times are getting too tough. Just don’t get married again. Get a vasectomy if you wa…

This is true. I guess being rich gives you a better chance but still a challenge. Having a child outside of marriage gives the woman custody rights from the start. Only safe way is to adopt a child or find a surrogate and avoid marriage. Even prenups don’t work half the time. Getting married now days is a bad idea. They will fake love you and take your money after they are done playing house.

Hire an attorney. Let her know that you are now represented by an attorney. Don’t say or do anything that can mess you up in court if she insists on taking this to court. Depending on your state, for her to move she must get your consent or a judge’s permission. Other than that if she moves with the kids she is in contempt. Thats why it’s always best to put that in your decree. Can’t move unless approved.

Right, next thing you know she is snapping pictures of your place with her phone. Trying to see if you live better than her and use it against you. Don’t do it.

Feel for you man. This sub helps. That's why I could never get married again. They toss you out when they are done playing wife and take everything they can. I never want to feel that pain again. That’s the plan. 18+ years of child support. Better stop while you still can. Do not have a baby with a woman you are divorcing. Next thing you know you will be singing the old band-aids commercial. I’m stuck on child support and child support is stuck on me!🤣

It's hard at first. Things will get better as you will get stronger mentally and physically. We like to tell ourselves if we only had one more chance it could work. Divorce shows you the REAL person you married and many times it can be a blessing for your health when she leaves. The bad part is.... the kid/s suffer the most if you have little ones. It's very sad but you have to keep going brother. Hate to say it but she wrote the relationship off months or years ago mentally. We all go through t…
