BBC admits its viral “women write better code” story was fake newshttp://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check-if-you-need-one/topics/telling-us-you-dont-need-a-tv-licence Keep in mind that you actually have to declare not to watch any live TV (the money doesn't just go to the BBC, although most of it does). | /r/MensRights | 29/12/16 02:21 PM
Women most likely to use misogynistic language on Twitter, report findsThis goes back to the beginning of the movement, actually. In the 19th century they fought for 'tender years doctrine' laws, rather than shared custody. The difference is that back then their gynocentric focus wasn't as big a problem since there were major issues effecting women. Those have mostly been addressed, so the same gynocentric mindset now leads to absurd demands. | /r/MensRights | 18/10/16 10:59 AM
Let's talk about "Healthy Male Sexuality"All revenge porn is fake? You talked about 'genre,' which implies that the revenge aspect is part of the story line. One can pretty much only get this if one fakes the revenge part. What you are talking about is regular porn/nude pictures, etc; where the context is revenge, but the media itself is not different from other porn. That is not a genre. For example, if I illegally distribute an action movie, the genre doesn't become 'illegal movie,' it's still 'action.' I would also argue that most p… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/06/16 02:08 PM
Let's talk about "Healthy Male Sexuality"I understand that this is the concern of some men, but you cannot deny that there is an entire genre of porn out there to the tune of "slutty ex gf sex tapes check it out!!" Which are all fake and just fantasy material. Are you aware that a pretty high percentage of women have rape fantasies? I'm sure you wouldn't argue that this means that those women want to be actually raped. Well, it's the same for men, some of them also have fantasies which would be transgressive if done for real, but fortu… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/06/16 07:25 AM
Brainlabs, a mathematics, technology and analytics company in the UK, gives its female employees a 8.6% payrise no matter position, skill, work hours or ability to "combat the pay gap". Then justify it be rejecting math and statistics and claiming the refutation of it is "normalization" and a "con"If they really believe that normalization is a con, then do they also pay the same salary to the CEO as to the cleaning person? Do they pay the same salary to a worker who works 20 hours as to one that works 40? Or are those perfectly valid reasons for pay differences unless men and women make different choices on average? | /r/MensRights | 31/05/16 09:56 AM
My extremely liberal female coworker says you can't be sexist towards menBecause a very small minority of men were dominant. In most of human history lower class men and women had to do the bidding of higher class men and women. That higher class woman probably needed to get her husband to punish a lower class person, so she had less power than higher class men, but that still was much more power than the lower class men had. Saying that men are dominant because of that minority is like saying that black people are dominant now because Obama is black. | /r/MensRights | 22/07/15 09:24 AM
