Personal responsibility stopped being an expected element of adulthood. It's always something - the opposing party, the fast food chain, the pharmaceutical companies, the sidewalk tripped me.... I'm not saying tragic things don't happen, but adults need to take responsibility for where they are and what condition they're in.
