I didn’t see any changes in my husband, made me feel like I was doing it wrong but I got coaching and was reminded the skills for me and I need to relinquish control of the outcome. It’s very hard not to expect to see results and have a break through yearning the impact the skills have on marriages.

Thank you for your support. The laws where I am make divorce very easy. I’ve looked up the process and it’s very simple and doesn’t cost much especially as we’ve already decided what to do with our shared asset.

I need him to file for divorce, it’s his choice to end it. I’m just wondering why he hasn’t done it.

Haha that’s true. I took some relationship coaching which has helped me loads. I want him back and I want him to be happy even if that is not being with me. The therapy sessions were great and he said he felt very connected to me when we were doing them, he still had no desire to continue them.

This is what I’m toying with, whilst I accept his decision I’m not at the point where I feel I can instigate a divorce.

That is interesting, I never thought of that. He’s still paying half the mortgage and bills which is costing him more then a divorce would.

I was 23 when I had my first kiss with a man I fell in love with and ended up marrying. I hadn’t dated anyone before that.

I’ve been doing the LD skills and no difference in my relationship, thank you for sharing the blog. It looks interesting. I do need to decide which one I want, can’t have both.

You’re both right, thank you. It didn’t sit well with me, I was feeling confused with my situation.

This is so inspirational. I am trying to fix my marriage with the skills but am feeling I have to accept it is ending and being close to my mid thirties, I am sad about the possibility of missing out on having children. This gives me hope that I’ll be okay with my relationship ending and my future prospects.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
