Where does it follow the “men are bad” trope? All I’m seeing is a post, claiming that - surprise - the world isn’t black and white. Most people - if not everyone - is a little morally grey. Also where do u get the comparison between men and women from? The post doesn’t even mention women. No one’s expecting you to be Tony Stark man. They’re just saying that men who intervene are more heroic than men who stand by and watch, a concept which is also applicable to any person in the history of ever. …

Being a woman myself, I think the answer to your question is fear. People tend to “hate” the people they’re afraid of as a coping mechanism. I mean nowadays in the western world - not counting microorganisms - I think it’s safe to say that men are our biggest natural predators.
