Hang in there, Brother. Pray for the best, but you got to be ready for the worst. Divorce never ends amicably. Get your mind right and get ready for battle. Your kids are going to be okay. Fuck, everyone is from a divorced home, now

There's a lot to unpack in your post. First, it's true that a lot of modern day women make no effort in their physical appearance, get big, and become slobs. Worse than that, they still believe all men find them irresistible and want to have sex with them every second of every day. You're at the point in your marriage where it's time to sit down and have difficult conversations about how you are feeling. I'll bet that there are hidden other things that are contributing to you losing physical att…

Haha, these are facts. I'll add that modern day women disallow us to communicate honestly with them. This definitely contributes to the inability to communicate.

Google search divorce rates. Over 50% for first marriages, over 60% for 2nd marriages, 70% for third ones. Tell your brother that we are living in a divorce society. This is just how things are, now. Almost everyone is a divorcee.

I don't believe it's possible to have a modern relationship without being a doormat. It's how we men have been brainwashed and it's what the women expect from us. I am done with being a doormat for women. I can't do it anymore.

It does matter. You are the common denominator in this equation. You will also become disengaged with the new woman (or any woman for that matter) when the "chemistry" phase of your relationship is over. This is not the recipe for a healthy long term relationship.

It seems to me that you feel there is a future with the other woman, else you wouldn't be already emotionally gone. Those feelings you are feeling for her are called limerance. Those are the ooey gooey feelings that are laced with the hormones serotonin, oxitocin, etc. Essentially a crush. None of that is a good reason for a divorce. Those kinds of hormonal behaviors are for kids who are unaware of the consequences from their chemistry driven decisions. Every relationship becomes stale at some p…

Modern day marriages are so fucked up. They're awful if you stay. They're awful if you leave. There are no good wife replacements to choose from. You should try to make things work. I don't know you, but 99.999% of the time marriages end due to inability to communicate with each other. Go to couples counseling. Write her a letter.

Brother, I'm so sorry that you are suffering through this. We've been where you are. You're going to cry about it right now and that's okay. You're going to cry as long as you feel necessary. And that's okay. Fuck your wife. You're a badass mother fucker. You're going to get yourself back up and you're going to get to fucking work on you. You need to recreate yourself. You have no choice. You need new places to eat, social circles, music, mma class, etc. You have to keep evolving and ascending for your own sake. You have to alter your formulas for success in this life. Make new goals. Make milestones to reach those new goals and start grinding again. What's wrong with work? Work is awesome. You need to put energy into you. Keep learning, keep evolving, keep ascending. Get ripped up, dress nice, and smell good. Stop chasing these privileged, entitled modern women. You got to talk to your new lady and find out what she is comfortable with you doing for your ex and what all of that will look like. What are the boundaries? This is also an excellent test for your new lady. If she says absolutely no to any accompaniment for your ex, that will show her character.

That being said, your wife sounds like she has been the same person throughout your relationship. Meeting new people is harder than it should be. Try Meet Up, Facebook, ect. for outdoor activity groups. I don't recommend coed singles groups. I took dance classes and met new people. (That was surprisingly fun.) Haha, I asked my people (and still do) if they know any divorced men that I might be introduced to. We divorced men have got to start making divorced men groups. You just have to put yourself out there.

I distrust all women, now. I will never be vulnerable again. There will be no more failed relationships. Women hold all the power with little to no repercussions of the chaos they create. Yessir! The good old pressure cooker that is the life of the modern day American male! You are on the verge of meltdown. Society expects too much from us. Go ahead and file for divorce and stop being the husband in a relationship where the wife doesn't love or respect her husband. As of right now, you are no longer obligated to be the dutiful husband as the wife abdicates her roles and responsibilities. I'm so sorry that you are suffering through this.

You need to educate yourself on Bipolar disorder. This is very important for you to do. This is not for her benefit, but for yours. You are caught up in her bipolar machinations and you must gain control of your reactions to her provocations. Bipolar people are masters of manipulation. They are impossible to deal with while married. You must gain control of yourself and not allow her to trigger you. This will likely require that you two separate.

Unfortunately, this is the dynamic of modern day marriage. You will encounter the same thing or worse in another partner. There are no partners in crime to be found. It's really bad out there. You do need to try counseling. Additionally (this also happened in my marriage) your wife is bored with you, because you are "conquered" in her mind. You have given her all of your power. You are wrapped around her finger. You need to figure out creative ways to reignite her in the relationship, again. I w…

I had to throw a lifetime of accomplishment into the trash can, as well. My ego and pride also went in there. Brother, these are the ways things are with women now. It's awful if you stay and it's awful if you leave. You need to educate yourself on Bipolar disorder and extreme narcissism. This will help you navigate her insanity if you stay or be better prepared for her malignant behavior when you leave. If you cannot cohabitate without being triggered by her devious behaviors, then a divorce will be necessary. I'm sorry that you are suffering through this.

All of that is good stuff. You are definitely on the right path. However, you're not doing it to be a better mate down the road. You're doing it for yourself. You're doing it for your own sake and wellness. You're doing it cuz it's the right thing for you. And you will likely need to tap into some dark energy to get there. Haha, these modern day women are truly something else. Oh my God, what a perfect storm for them. They get to compare notes on the horrors of being married to you. These two survivors get the much needed first hand accounts of your torture so that their own narratives of victim-hood can be rekindled and carried bravely forward. There is probably talk of PTSD. I feel like BPD is exploding, right now. I see it everywhere and wonder if something in modern society is causing it to occur at an exponential rate. Regardless, nearly all modern women are extremely narcissistic and fully capable of displaying the sociapathic, vindictive traits of BPD. It is literally hell on earth. I don't know what to tell you. All I can say is to try to keep your cool and calm. She's trying to provoke you to use your reactions to her provocations as proof of your character.

You just get up every day and try to put one foot in front of another. There's the emotional and psychological destruction that's as bad (or worse) than the financial. The emotions you're feeling and working through are all justified. And you'll go through them all over and over again. I know about the low, low spots where you have been reduced to a broken beast. You don't have anything good to give in those moments. I have been ground up and spit out and I am less than the mountain of a man I u…

It's absolutely awful out there. I've been divorced for five years. The dating scene is so bad. I've been ghosted too many times to count. Everyone is searing rage from their divorces. Everyone has damaged everyone so badly. I haven't looked at a dating app in almost two years. It was causing me emotional and psychological distress dealing with these ladies on the apps. I did go on dates, but I always felt like I was wasting my time, money, and energy. All of my dates were women who were still c…

I do not recommend remarrying or having any more children. The divorce rate is over fifty percent for first marriages. Second marriage divorce rates are sixty percent. Third marriage divorce rates are seventy percent. I've meditated on this and you really have only two options: you'll have another divorce or you'll find yourself in a toxic marriage. I'm not doing either of these. I absolutely can't. There are good women in the world, but they are making their marriages work. These women are vast…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
