And I'm pointing out how that justification is flawed and illogical

Virgin shaming is shitty and the people who do it are shitty. Okay, the way you talk is setting off some alarm signs for depression, so purple pill debate aside, I just want to say you would be well served with a therapist that can help you work through your problems of self esteem. I've been diagnosed with depression and I know how shitty it feels to not feel attractive to anyone, least of which yourself. I got over my depression eventually and what made me get over it was not red pill, it wasn…

I agree virgin-shaming is sometimes an ugly facet of feminist circles, and is something the movement needs to (and is) working against. But to be fair I only see virgin-shaming being done against redpill types who claim to be god's gift to women.

Only fringe radicals. We even have a name for feminists who are opposed to prostitution, called SWERFs (Sex Worker Exclusive Radical Feminists)

the rps using this AWALT have been hurt by women, lots of them have probably been blindsided. That's what it is. Hurt people hurt people.

Personally, this isn't a thing about women. It's about people. All people are potentially dangerous, and nearly everyone has been betrayed by someone they never expected it from. But RP exists in the context of sexual strategy and gender dynamics. So while the context of the phrase is about women, the applicability is to every person who isn't you. "This phrase is not about women! But in this case it's about women, sure" I bet you'd earn at least a silver medal in the mental olympics.

Every cuccoo crazy movement needs their own music for validation and isolation from society. You know, like the neo-nazis

It's not. BluePill is not about getting the pussy. It's about criticizing the destructive and toxic ways RedPill tries to get the pussy. You can get the pussy and not hate women, it's possible I've done it.

I thought the questions would be so much more homogenous. To me it's very obviously having flings from 21 to 26 and then staying with the "perfect woman".

Don't flip the burden of proof on me, pal. I'm asking you guys why you gotta hate women "why shouldn't I?" is not an answer. The answers I'm getting are mostly stuff like "because being denied sex makes us angry at women!" and people calling it an "anger phase".

belief that women are different from men I believe that men are different from men as well. people are different. This othering of women is so goddamn toxic, this othering of women is what's was originally behind you guys putting women on a pedestal. I'll propose something here. TRP pedestalizes women, but in a different pedestal. What's the point of othering women from one pedestal of positivity to othering them on a pedestal of negativity?

Semantics. In my definition of the word 'hate' you guys do hate women. From another answer in this very thread: I no longer respect women. I view them as just holes; And yet the guy claims he doesn't hate women. It's semantics. While he claims that he simply sees them as "different", I claim considering women to be "just a hole" is a form of hate. It's a form of misogyny. Saying it's not is like saying that the nazis didn't hate the jews, they just thought of them as inferior. It's the same sema…

About the virgin-shaming stuff. It's often done in retaliation to slut shamers. It's ok to virgin shame when the person is being virgin shamed for slut shaming. It's not ok to virgin shame when the person did nothing reprehensible. Slut shaming on the other hand often happens when a woman simply has sex with someone other than the slut shamer.

(b) If you would, then so would women.

(a) There are other ways to keep a girl interested without having a lot of money. Money is important up to a certain point, but I really don't see women choosing a partner based on his income above all else. Sure, there are gold diggers and there are sugar daddies, but those are fringe cases. What's important to women is not the money you make, but the experiences you provide to her. You can be a millionaire but if you sit on your ass all day playing DotA she'll lose interest in you quickly. Not…

Dude, if I had two girls who were perfectly alike pining over me and one was a millionaire, I'd be a gold-digging manslut and pick the millionaire
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/15 11:55 AM

This sounds like you're trying to justify the women that don't fit your world view as fringe cases like "she's still a gold-digging whore, just not exclusively a gold digging whore all the time"

Feelings are not a zero-sum game. Caring less about other people's feelings doesn't mean you care more about your own (unless that feeling is anger or contempt). And frankly, TRP people don't seem like the happiest people on the planet, so to me it seems you're causing a lot of suffering for not a lot of pleasure, in a utilitarian sense. You can still value your feelings above other people's feelings while being respectful to their feelings.

The problem is not that it's an "act". The problem is that behind the act, or the behavior, is a selfish, sociopathic, misogynistic man with no regards for morals or other people's well being. I would argue not even his own well being. I mean honestly, when was the last time you could legit say you were happy?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/15 08:42 PM

"Those who don't care" are probably very uncommon. If you legitimately don't care then there is something wrong with you since you're a sociopath. If you legit don't care then good for you. I guess you'll never know happiness.

I disagree that this advice is common, though, or is common sense. Common advice is "be nice," "be yourself," and "do nice things for her;" Yeah, sure, I agree those are the most common advice in general, but the other advice "work out, be interesting, don't be a doormat" is also very common when people are talking about the dating world in general And if it was common sense, why are 70% of Americans overweight? For the same reason there are RedPillers who are also overweight. Following through …

The claim is that this sort of advice is given on TRP It's given everywhere else as well. There's probably a dumb wikihow or a stupid buzzfeed article about just those things. It would be equally valid to say that those guidelines are "buzzfeed advice". It's practically common knowledge by this point. RP didn't come up with those guidelines, it simply supports them

If the behavior is criminal as well as immoral it can land you in jail. If it's not criminal, the consequences are social in nature, such as ostracization
