Ooh, you're right. I think I was biased cause this one popular guy I know is really into racing. What other stuff would you suggest, other than sports?

Thanks. A lot of the popular guys do rec rock climbing, so if I get good at it, I think it might help. Any other advice?

None of the popular guys in my school do drugs, and they bully kids who juul or smoke weed. As for athletics, is it only the major sports like football and basketball, or can I get popularity doing stuff outside school like rock climbing or car racing?

The problem is that I like popular girls, who only date popular guys.

Problem is, in your situation, your friend group was the one who made fun of you. I'm honestly kind of notorious throughout my school for having been a social retard. Will this advice still work?

The jocks are the popular ones in my school.

Hmm. I joined the swim team last year. Hated it so much that I quit

Yeah, but I think some kids at my school may find it interesting and therefore be more interested in me.

I've always hated sports, but always loved the idea of being an athlete. Joined the swim team last year, but absolutely hated it. Thinking of getting into drag racing instead. Thoughts?

Since I got my license, thinking of getting into drag racing. Thoughts?

Maybe it's time for a hobby that would have more age appropriate people? That was a big part of the problem. A big reason I was never popular is because I never had the same interests as guys my age: sports, music, video games. Any suggestions for good hobbies? A

I've been to a couple of those. The good thing: met some older guys who gave me some good advice. Bad thing: literally nobody my age at either of those.

Most of my hobbies are solitary: writing, fixing up cars, lifting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
