There's a lot to unpack here that I haven't the time for so I'll just clarify a few of my points. "Now that's what she wants, that's not necessarily what she'll do depending on whether she wants kids, societal pressures." That's what I was trying to impart. I was with you up until your third paragraph. Women want money. Women want attention. Women want a lot of things. Men have been giving women these things for a long time with nothing in return. Instead I think the question should be, "How can I practice being assertive and hold frame while considering others?"
