It's really disheartening to see, and most political parties are either super sjw/leftist or insane rightwing. Before Merkel the CDU used to have a relatively rational view on the whole thing, but right now of all the parties only the FDP has views I can agree with(and they're barely relevant anymore, although they are improving in the polls last I've seen).

Yeah, I guess I misread your comment a bit or replied to the wrong one, I just wanted to mitigate the "nice guy hate" that you often feel in this sub, because in my experience they are often actually nice, just no idea what they are doing.

I usually rationalize the nice guy syndrome as the "nice" guy not really knowing how to show intent, or not having the balls to, and doing nice things for the girl in hopes that she recognizes them as a great guy and they pick up on their interest. I guess this is caused by movies etc. that usually show this kind of behaviour to lead to relationships, when in reality it leads to the friendzone. I'm not really defending, but I don't think you should call people assholes for behaving that way, jus…

Let me guess, Scandinavian or German? I'll also probably never get into cold approach day game just because I personally feel it's weird and really not encouraged socially.

Hm I've struggled with a similar thing, because of that it's always easier for me to attract women I don't really care about, because I tend to lose at the '(pretend to)care less about the other person than they do about you(so you appear powerful and non-needy)'-shtick when it's with someone I really like.

Oh wow this obvious and it still doesn't help, I don't usually make posts, should've checked before making my comment, but now I can understand how one can get frustrated with the state of the sub :o

I don't know, I think it's hard to avoid that newbies will turn up and ask the same questions over and over again(happens in too many subs to count), the knowledge is there in the sidebar, but still tons of people post the same stuff over and over again. Maybe there should be a disclaimer before you submit a post that refers you to the sidebar and a) reminds you of /r/askseddit if you want to ask about a specific situation and b) encourages people to share/post valuable content or experiences. T…

Sorry to break it to you but PUA techniques have never been scientific and the exchange of ideas, what works/what doesn't hasn't been either. Even guys playing the numbers game don't really get a representative sample size and even then the number of variables between the girls they hit on, the girls other guys using the same techniques hit on and the differences between the guys using the techniques are way too big to really find techniques that can attribute their success just to the technique…

Just think of it this way, every day you don't start making a change is one day more it's going to take to get back out of the prison, the longer you dig the hole the longer it's going to take to get out.

I'm younger than you (21) but have been balding since I've been 18 and it sucks, the only advice I can find online is that you should work out get a cool beard and own it, if you still have enough hair so it doesn't look ridiculous get a short haircut. I do work out but it sucks to be restricted to one possible type of style(badass bald/short hair dude like Jason Statham/Vin Diesel) especially if you don't have the face for it.

Its not about eating meat, vegetables or candy, its about taking less kcals than you are burning. Use free available calculators to look up your daily calories, there are many guides about the optimal distribution of macros(protein, fat, carbs) for every goal as well.

Some people are just confident by nature, even if they don't have looks, success or whatever to attribute it too.

You just worded my (almost) exact mindset in a very clear and understandable way, this helped me get even more motivated :).

People have different tastes, I have some female friends who think Benedict Cumberbatch is incredibly hot while other think he looks incredibly weird and it's the same with almost everybody who doesn't look straight up repulsive.

Get better at getting better or set up a routine that allows you to do everything with maximum efficiency. Set yourself goals, learn how to attain them and then do it. Learning how to read more/faster and setting up a workout routine are the 2 most important ones and are pretty generally applicable. Then choose other good habits/routines in things you personally want to get better at.

Some people just don't like clubs and some other people will just not understand how that can be. If you are introverted or just don't like huge crowds/loud music/dancing then you will have trouble attracting girls in a club, because it just is not your environment;your not really comfortable, you don't have much fun if you are not drunk as hell... and attempting to change that would require far more effort than just looking for girls elsewhere. Just do something different and be happy with what …

Yeah I already thought that telling girls would be a bad idea, mainly I wanted to ask how I should approach him about toning it down a bit, because he is already getting a negative reputation and I think he could be an all right guy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
