I think your explanation for female perception of reality VS entertainment is spot on. However, atleast Milla's excuse is a virus/super serum and Buffy has a super natural explanation to subvert reality. Black widow is just complete bullshit.

Awkward. Knowing it was coming made it worse. When I looked her up (took name from email) on linkedin to prep for the interview.
