People move on to new relationships all of the time based on personal expectations and desires. Society though has demonized the idea of upgrading to a younger model. You’re supposed to reward this LTR because she’s put in effort. But it sounds like she’s not part of your plan for what you want out of life. WISNIFG should help.

You’re still stuck on needing the same advice I gave you a month ago. Spend your rule 9 ban LARPing as Alpha Chad. Lift heavy while shirtless and wearing a backwards hat. Wink at and chat with every girl you see. Use the word “bro” too much when talking to guys. Just do something that’s not this clean, refined dude trying to identify the nuance of MRP that leads to becoming a high value respectable Man. Also, if you return, set a timer for writing your OYS. I can tell you’re trying to dig deep i…

Because it’s a fucking useless TRP motto that doesn’t help you much in any way. You’ll benefit from hearing it once and then adopting the mantra: “I’m not hers; it’s just her turn.”

Best acronym to learn after STFU is DEER.

This is actually how I’ve modified GreySkull to match my ability to hit an AMRAP set with a goal weight before doing supplemental sets afterwards. It’s more in line with 5/3/1 where you warm up to the top set then do volume sets. I’ve preferred doing more like your last example and then getting volume with lighter weight, supplemental lifts like tricep push downs, lat raises, etc for bench.

Yeah it’s great. My favorite line from it: If you have run the ever so popular Stronglifts or Starting Strength programs and are just tired of the Fat gains that come along with it, then the GSLP is the program for you.

I knew I should have used a different word than "mission," but I couldn't think of a better one at the time. I'm not really focusing on you finding a mission. I'm trying to nudge you about the amount of negativity you have in your introspection. Would like to additionally pick up piano but don't have one at the moment and cannot afford lessons. I do not own a car I do not have a degree I really cannot undergo a full wardrobe change as I simply cannot afford a bunch of clothes Not sure, but yeah,…

The base program is just two big lifts per session with sets of 2x5, 1x5+. Add in a plug in (accessory) per session, and it was taking me about 35-40 minutes at the most. Since you’re performing full body AMRAP sets 3x/week, you’ll be taxed a good bit to add in more volume. You’ll get strong though. Homework sets are done outside of the gym. I think the starting point for them is to figure out your max push ups and pull ups. Then do sets of 50% throughout the day. So if you can do 20 push ups, y…

I really like GreySkull, but the base program is low volume. The best resource online is a thread from an SEC football website. It’s chock full of info about the program along with pages and pages of Q&A. I will say that most people seem to miss Johnny’s biggest instruction with the program: you have to do the homework to get enough volume. That means frequency push ups and pull ups almost daily. You’ll see the best results that way.

There are so many “I can’t” statements in your OYS. As of right now, you’re on a one way trip to becoming an over-muscled grump who sits in the park playing chess with 70 year old men. You should take some time this week to write a list of “I can” statements about your life and then follow up with “I want” and “I like” statements. See if that might help develop an action plan for finding your mission in life.

STFU is still going well. Despite some saying that I was DEERing last week in response to some comments in my OYS I call bullshit. If someone, who would never have the balls to talk shit to my face, does it on the internet, I will call that keyboard warrior on their bullshit. Except your reaction last week was the opposite of STFU. And you’re literally DEERing in this post. Do you not see it?

This helps a lot for the question I was going to ask. I agree that I could have accomplished more in her emotional moment, but I really don't know what to say in such a moment. Look deep into her eyes and say, "God I fucking love you"? I guess thinking back, that would have been beneficial. The fact that she was going for a comfort test, and I comforted with dick could have been smoothed out with using verbal reinforcement for my own emotions towards her. But on my end, I've been working on my s…

You haven’t begun to find your edge with weight loss. And until you can push yourself here - on step 1 of MRP - you’ll never know long term authentic progress. Ask me how I know. At 6’2 236 pounds, you are obese. Your body fat percentage is most likely very high. With your lifts, I’m guessing around 25-28% range. Your ideal weight range is 170-185. You can go higher than 185 if you’re throwing serious iron around, but you’re a long way away from that. At your BMI, you can safely lose 1.5 lbs a w…

The ego in this post and subsequent responses is off the charts. You’ve got life all figured out and are the captain, the oak for your family, yet that damn wife of yours seems to be becoming depressive and anxious. About her job though. That’s what it is. And if only you could fix her job, through leadership of course, you could fix her problems for her. So that you can get your “happy, positive, confident copilot back.” Like most AskMRP posts, it’s covert contracts all the way down.

I have seen nothing but positive come from this event so far. This kinda comes across like you’re rubbing it in people’s faces that your way worked and everyone else was wrong. You’re still in the glow of your victim puke/FMoFY speech, and that can certainly get you some decent sex…for a while. But this is a long game, and it eventually wears thin. If you go through my OYS posts, you’ll notice that I have a tendency to slip into reflective/introspective mode almost every time I post. It’s a passive way to DEER, hamster, and add fluff to my OYS. You’re doing the same thing. Lots of unnecessary detail to show the inner workings of your mind as you make incremental changes to your life. This isn’t surprising considering you were consuming a lot of motivational content. (And good on you for cutting that shit out.) Here’s what I learned about y…

Doc's worried. I could have Asperger's, but I might also have other problems. So, I'll be getting a brain scan. He also said I might have physical or chemical stomach issues, so he gave me a referral for that as well. The brain and stomach issues will be tested this Friday. So if a man’s wife has physiological issues it’s best to ignore and cheat on her to prove alphaness. That’s an inaccurate conclusion. Your post is focused on figuring out a way to remove medication from your wife - potentially medically necessary medication - to increase the number of days she’ll give you sex. Your post history even shows how you actively searched for hormone clinics to figure this out for her. Your advice is one big covert contract: if I can control her hormone levels, I can co…

What I’m saying is sometimes it’s not you, it’s her. No, it’s still you. If you aren’t able to satisfy your sexual needs with your wife and your goal is build a life that is sexually satisfying, then it’s on you to either step outside your marriage or get a divorce.

So I looked back at your previous OYS posts, and you said you have autism. Is that an actual diagnosis? If so, are you getting the resources you need to function self-sufficiently with autism? Are you on medication that is hindering your appetite? 6’2 131lbs is extremely underweight. And you haven’t gained in weeks. I’m betting there’s something medical you need to help you here.

Your mission is to get jacked and you’re doing it wrong. You’re 5’11 150lbs. What in the holy Jesus fuck are you doing losing weight? For some MRP-approved body fat percentage? You’re in prime position to bulk. Your lifts are still in novice territory and you have room to spare in your weight. I’d do a 3 month bulk (not a retard bulk) and gain some weight and muscle. I bet that body fat percentage doesn’t change much, and I bet you’ll look ten times better.

You're under zero obligation to raise someone else's kid as your own. You are in this relationship for the value that your GF brings (mostly sex, but I'm sure other areas), and once that value diminishes, you are free to cut ties and move on to something else. Pretty sure that's one of Tomassi's Iron Rules. With that out of the way, I'm curious why you don't want the kid to call you dad and what the harm would be if he did. I absolutely understand not wanting to go through the adoption process. …

Oh man! This is a unique situation around here. It requires a bit of nuance in your approach. Usually the advice would be to settle her down by doing some chore play, apologizing with flowers, and then rubbing her butthole until she falls gently asleep (do not ask for sex!) But in this case, you need to rub your own butthole until you fall asleep. This is the way.

Look, you’re obviously a smart dude who has accomplished things in his life by working within systems that produce logical results. I got rid of the "I am not sure whether I want to fuck from a position of genuine desire" minset cockblock. Simply initiated recently and fucked. Then, initiated the next day, even though I was not needing it, fucked again, confirming that I can get pussy as often as I want to. Dynamics with my wife are good. Here’s the rub and I’m basing this not only on this post but on your previous OYS posts and comments: Your wife has zero respect for you. You posted two weeks ago about how you had a problem with covert contracts in the past. What you seem to be failing to see is that you still have a big problem with covert contracts currently. I did not physically hit my kids. And references to "ass whoopings" is referring to spankings. Just for clarification, spankings are physically hitting kids. I know there are varying opinions on the efficacy of corporal punishment, but conventional literature suggests that any forms of physical punishment is antithetical to raising a balanced, well-adjusted kid. 99% of the time I do not have to use spankings and can just raise my voice and my physical presence to gain control of an out-of-contro…

I'm not sure what a force multiplier is. I got the term from /u/HornsofApathy. I'm not sure how he actually conceptualizes it, but I interpret it as someone in your life that takes things off of your plate so that you can focus more on larger goals. Kind of like a new business owner hiring a personal assistant. Inner abductors aren’t a real thing. Look up the adductor longus, adductor magnus, and the gracilis. Collection of muscles in the inner thigh area that provide stability at the bottom of a squat. Tight hips and poor ankle dorsiflexion can lead to weak adductors. They can strain when adding weight to squats.

I’m not sure I totally understand your question. We had sex four times this past week. Physique Check: You have good genetics for abs, and I think that blurs the reality of your underdeveloped physique. Your adonis belt is there, but it's not accentuated due to the lack of chest, lats, and shoulders. You have a small chest that creates more of a rectangular boxy look to your torso. Shoulder caps are nonexistent. Arm definition is decent, but I'm thinking you're in a bit of a pump in that picture meaning that there's not much to notice when you're in a t-shirt. If you're ever stand…

Few things: I like this advice even for guys who aren’t in the anger phase yet. Ones that are just discovering MRP and learning to bench a barbell. It’s similar to Jordan Peterson’s advice for young guys to first clean their room when trying to build a life. You’re walking the line of wanting a cheat code for handling this kind of situation. You aren’t going to get an answer here because ultimately, how you enforce this boundary is up to you. It doesn’t matter what you do. What do you want to do? If you start barking orders, yes, you lose the STFU option. It's a misconception that MRP is actually exclusive to married people. Even if you have no intention of having an LTR, MRP has evolved into a space that focuses on helping men self-actualize with healthy behaviors. And if you do think you might one day have a LTR or get married, you should go ahead and start preparing for that now rather than later.
