Circumcision isn't as much of a conservative thing as I think most people consider it to be. The only reason rates are lower seems to be because Hispanics and Asians, tend to be democrats more, and they don't cut their kids. Regions like the northeast, and states like Hawaii have higher than average circumcision rates, and also tend to quite liberal. Democrat states like Colorado and Maine, recently re-instated Medicaid for infant circumcision in 2017 and 2024 as well.

This is true, but largely since the overwhelming majority of nurses are women, and the responsibility of circumcision falls on them.
