Yes, hired a lawyer. And yes she hasn't lived in my house for over a year now. Like I said, something has to be said that she is doing exactly the same financially and living her life just as she did before we were married

Yeah my friend, I think buying the new vehicle was a mistake. Especially since it sounds like it is going to get nasty. I am sure her lawyer will make sure she is well aware of this. Other than that life is too short to forgive and move forward with her. Every time you lay on your bed with her, sit on the couch and snuggle, the memory of what transpired there will always be in the back of your mind.

It is a loop hole in the system. No penalty for false accusations, false charges. Designed to not make real victims of DV fear seeking help, if false accusations could carry a penalty. Some may not pursue charges.... Ties up and dilutes the legal system. I am happy for you brother, glad you came out stronger.
