I lived here all my live and there are some unfortunate events that had led me to stay here to help my parents. Also I grew up here I never contemplated leaving NYC though I will saw my job does provide good pay and good benefits which is why I stay as well.

As someone who lives in NYC, my problem ultimately boils down to mental exhaustion. I work 40 hours a week and overall have 12 hours a week as travel time, by the time the weekend comes all I want to do is just stay home and relax so get ready for the next week. So major cities are perfect for third places but I also feel like if you're not making a certain amount of money or have such an intense schedule living in a major city won't help and maybe thats where some of the decline is. So y’all don’t want to deal with them either?! After a certain age I can't help them, I can only have so many exhausting conversations before I lose my mind. Some people just don't get it , I am willing to talk about it and such but you gotta meet me halfway. Not to mention there are too many bad faith actors its annoying

Having statistics alone isn't enough as to use in an argument or be used in peered review scientific paper , there is usually context or nuance on those statistics. Conclusions are usually made that's when discussion around these studies are done to come up with a better understanding.

Because no one would ever take self reporting as credible , we have institutions that have set the bar on how data works year of analysis and education, That's how we dettermine.

Right but I feel like when we also talk about this we always skip the fundamental reasons why we are set in these ways. It has been like this for so long because of societal expectations of men and women. I think we break these barriers when we start to fundamentally change how we view how humans overall should act.
