| 6 | A more nuanced poll on abortionI'm fundamentally pro-life, but I would never tell a woman what they can and can't do. I would prefer that no abortion happens, but if a woman wants to murder their child then is that child really better off being born to them? I think abortion before 20 weeks is okay in the sense that yes a potential life is being lost, which is sad (and I don't for a moment think that most sane women aren't traumatised by the process of aborting) but that foetus has no consciousness and can't feel pain.
