One problem...shouldn't it be 'MasculinistHulk' not 'MusculistHulk'?

Why would you love someone you're afraid of? Do you think women turn into evil bitchy monsters once you get married? No, but we're talking about a 50+% divorce rate with two thirds of those initiated by women. Something is happening* Anyone keeping up with men's rights knows the problem.

I generally agree with you. I don't know if there are grounds for legal action. I generally like my job, I like the company. And the email wasn't directed specifically towards me...he sent it to the whole company. My main issue with this whole thing is that if the tables were turned...heads would roll. To me, sending that article is equivalent to sending out an article breaking down crime figures down by race. I'd never get away with sending anything from the MRA subreddit or even a rebuttal. I …

I understand that in the grand scheme of things, this would be considered a very small issue. But it's exactly this kind of small stuff that adds up to a generally negative perception of men. Maybe you're right, it's not worth losing my job over but I have this nagging feeling and obligation to correct this somehow.

I don't think understanding the background of the person writing this blog is a prerequisite to criticizing her post.

The article below goes into detail about the argument kanuk876 mentioned. Showed up on reddit a couple months back. Very good read. http://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/abt5i/is_there_anything_good_about_men/

the fact is men pay 90% of all alimony and child support. And child >custody is overwelmingly biased towards moms. Is there a study that shows what percentage of those men fought for custody?

Every idea brought up by this pathetic blog has been torn apart over and over. What's the point?

Unfortunately, I've met a few college educated women who disagree. Their general opinion of men's rights is, "What do you need to be angry about?"

Rather than: should a woman be charged with a crime for having an abortion. You've got to be kidding. I'm at a loss to try to figure out what the hell is going on in her brain. Assuming it's not rape, why would you consider cumming in a woman a crime? Can somebody enlighten me to the thought process behind this question?

Yes, this is exactly what you get when you open a story essentially titled, "Whose toilets are grosser, boys or girls?" Not sure what kind of enlightened discourse you were expecting.

You have to admit, it's refreshing to hear them being up front about it. "We're firing you because you're a man and you can't be trusted around children."

This guy says it best... "If you've got to get what you want by taking away from other kids, I don't see what that accomplishes," Gardner said, "and any politician who subscribes to that ought to be ashamed of themselves." and later... Gardner, of the Greater Toronto league, said the root of this hockey battlefield is the city's failure to keep up with the game's demand.

I've had the same experience. I used to clean office buildings and the damage to the guy's bathrooms were wet sinks and some toilet stains. But women...it was the same thing over and over...women's bathrooms were horrendous crime scenes night after night. Girls think we don't know their dirty disgusting secret but there are more of us out there that need to speak out.

Let's all take a breather...a lot of DV incidences go underreported, especially on the male side. Women are just as prone to violence as men. Women's violence just isn't as effective so men need to restrain themselves more. Did you even read my comment? Data does not show that violence is an exclusively male problem. The article presumes that this is a one sided issue. It clearly is not. http://www.mediaradar.org/media_fact_sheet.php

Maybe it was the intent of article to portray violence as an exclusively male problem...but data shows that's just not the case.

Some main points... Patriarchal Power: The First "P" [...]Men's violence against women does not occur in isolation but is linked to men's violence against other men and to the internalization of violence, that is, a man's violence against himself. & violence or its threat become a means to ensure the continued reaping of privileges and exercise of power. It is both a result and a means to an end. There are very few situation today where violence is called for but it has served our species and ev…

I really appreciate the crap my husband does on a day-to-day basis. So what he does is crap...sounds like you really appreciate him. So you clean toilets, cook dinner, give birth, protect your children. All very noble duties without a doubt. But it sounds like you feel that what you do is more important than whatever your husband does...just a feeling I get from your post.

"When she's not blogging, she can usually be found at her piano or dancing like no one is watching..." Lady, you can feel free to dance like no one is watching because I guarantee...no one wants to watch.
