Ironically enough I have a friend who did this to me (she knows I like her) after she reached out to me sharing some pics I took of her cos she felt nostalgic. A few texts in the catch up she just left me on delivered for 3 weeks but still posts and always sees my stories ? What does this mean?

Yeah that’s kinda what I need more advice with I mainly use ig stories so I haven’t seen her stories for a couple of days and was thinking to post something to get her attention.

What if you’re pulling back to spark her curiosity and don’t want to be the one to engage what step would you choose then?

I feel most men also struggle with overthinking the situation out of proportion too. I want to be in the present and not lost in the past or worried about what could’ve been. Would you say meditation is also effective in helping one get over a woman and not let the thought of them affect you? Were there any other strategies you employed along with it to help you detach and reach that state of mind?

Point 6 really hit home. I feel like we all suffer from this at some point. What more can you do when she pulls back and intentionally cools it or ghosts you? Is the secret just to master the art of acting unbothered? If you excessively post online to get her attention they can smell it from a mile away. So do you ghost her back or just wait it out and be normal?

Interesting, so suppose the friend route is going strong it’s there but you’re not texting buddies but she’s still actively interested in seeing what you post and engaging from time to time. Is it still worth maintaining? Mutually there’s interest but it’s a bit hesitant to move ahead just yet. In that scenario is it worth continuing the friendship and being patient for things to develop over time?

The friend route is slow poison that will only lead to disappointment. Take it from someone who’s learned it the hard way. Be direct if she says no she does you a favour and you won’t waste your time.

In a similar situation. What if you talk a lot like 2 weeks straight and then the moment you drop the first compliment she’s sweet about it and later ignores you for a day and resumes watching your stories? What then is that a sign to let it go ? Or is there a tactic to keep the fire going? Do I ghost her too?

We’ve arrived at a reality where a person not viewing your story or ignoring you online has more weight than a straightforward rejection, whatever happened to having meaningful interactions. It’s a sad state we’re heading in and the worse part is it’s normalised to be manipulative online, have a social media profile to “sell yourself”, every move or message or like is seen with an ulterior motive. You can be chatting up with someone online for weeks and then they’ll just suddenly ghost you like …

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take homie. You got nothing to lose by approaching her directly. Be instantaneous and never hesitate. Once you get comfortable and build a bit of rapport then tease her a bit. One of the strongest tools you can have in your repertoire is the technique of making a woman talk about herself and explain why she is interested. For example tease her about whatever she says not being good enough, which will make her try even harder to impress you. This is known as q…
