Yeah, and I’m pretty sure OP is aware of that too. Once we start joking about those kinds things though, we sorta internalize the self deprecating aspect of the humor. Kinda like a self fulfilling prophecy. Make sure that the narrative going on in your head about yourself is a positive one.
